DD should change dash anytime and any zone for top dasher, to be a top dasher but still get out of zone that is kind of suck, yes we still able to dash but need to end zone and start new zone but cant get order from another zone…sometime just 200 yards is different zone but cant get order
The diamond tag is for orders that are over a specific dollar per mile... So short low paying trash still technically qualifies. 4.75 under 10 minutes still isn't terrible but so much can go wrong on an order to make that 15 or 18 minutes and suddenly it was a terrible idea. Always a gamble on those, and mostly ones that the house wins.
@@Snerdles yeah take two orders and you get stuck at the restaurant for 15 minutes on each one you making ten bucks an hour.. can easily happen. It will come down to a judgement call. Better to wait 5 minutes for three or four dollars more
This past month I noticed three tiers. If it is busy I will get nothing but sit down restaurants. The second tier is pizza. Once I take one pizza order I get nothing but pizza orders for the rest of the night. I am only offered fast food when it is a dead night. I am also noticing changes in destinations. Areas that I usually decline simply are no longer coming to me. This could of course be a coincidence, but its been going on for several weeks now.

I live in Iowa. There’s no traffic compared to other places. I came from St. Louis. My zone is my city’s south, east, and north aside. Along with with two other towns. If I get a 16-18 miles away. It takes me 25-30 minutes to get there. Yeah, it’s kinda far, but lack of severe traffic speeds everything up.
You got a lot of good orders and nice tip out there, my areas are suck, 70% no tip, and even tip, very small. I today had a pizza order with $168, dd paid $4.95 for 3 miles …and customer no tip
I notice that you stay in one zone your entire shift, even after an order takes you out of zone. Is there a reason why you do that? When I take orders that take me out of zone, I end dash and start in the new zone. Im just curious if I may be doing it wrong.
Each zone you build metrics with the algorithm. The more metrics the more the algorithm can "recommend" you for deliveries. All theory, it works for me.

AR is not important... Top Dasher Program is not worth all the orders you take loses on. (Fuel, Time, Distance etc.) Also, does anyone factor wear n tear of your vehicle? Taking a bunch of orders to keep your AR up is bad for your ow personal business. Be selective and make more money. You are your own business with all the costs incurred on this job.
I’ve had both high and low AR. I can say without question that cherry picking is no longer effective unless you’re multi apping and the other apps are very active. If DoorDash is the primary app that gets most of the business, you will see a significant decrease in orders below 50% as well as quality of orders. I’ve done it twice now and I am convinced that a higher AR is the only way to go with the DoorDash program now (not that I prefer it that way, but c’est la vie). The difference is blatantly obvious. The game has/is/will change! Adaptation is a must and that means you have to have an open mind to viewpoints that differ from your own & do all you can to continually learn what’s current.
I had my AR at close to 80% didn’t see any 2-3 offers all day. AR went down and those small orders started to come in. Might just be a slow week, or over saturated. Hard to tell tbh
Some are already packed ready to go. Some you shop. Their layout is super simple in app items are easy to find with 100% accuracy. Red card is only required for items you have to shop for.
Have you tried exploring another zone? You seem to have a grasp on knowing it doesn't work there, I'm sure you have a car that can drive out side your zone? Go where the money is. Stop blaming circumstances for your inability to try, excuses get you no where bud. I wish you the best Mr pickles

Im not too sure, but i didn’t get 100 deliveries done in january and somehow i still have the top dasher benefits, but i do have over 500 lifetime deliveries idk if that makes any difference i’m algorithm illiterate

I am shooting for top dasher this month and I signed up for every program, I know you said you hit top dash only at the end of the month, and we are at a new month now, can I still get top orders it I increase my 54 percentage rate to a 70
You will not be able to if you missed the cut off date on January 31st at 11:59PM local time. If you are in a zone that has the 50% acceptance or 70% acceptance you can still work your way up to get priority access to high pay orders. This will increase the likelihood of seeing those type of orders.

My diamond orders are NEVER that good, they'll pay $4.75 going a mile.

The Algorithm is definitely a neural network. It learns/expects behavior and we are the 'control'

My cars paid for 15x over. I could care less ill buy a new one when the time comes. Think in scarcity receive scarcity.
