Thought I was the only one. on one of the door dash subreddits people are claiming that they are being told its a widespread technical issue. Personally i think they literally shut the app down for thousands of us to try to offload as many people as possible.
It’s not a technical issue…several times support told me nothing is wrong the app or my account…they just keep telling me all the slots are already full and to try at another time or go somewhere else…what’s happening is there are a group of Europeans manipulating the system…DoorDash doesn’t even have control of their own app at this point…they refuse to even acknowledge the problem because they don’t care as long as the orders are getting delivered it’s sad
Disgusting, Overloaded all these people on the platform... A few months ago, no problems getting lower Manhattan Now I can't even touch it I don't do 2 AM too 4AM , The customer service lady tells me I have to be proactive There was never a problem in the past Till they pass that minimum wage law Now everybody and their mother from all over the world is on the platform I Of all people have to get stuck with Brooklyn's South... There poor bicycle tires that's all I have to say.....

i try doing the same thing. i live in queens zone and can no longer get a slot at all. i went from making 1800 a week to having to work now in long island zones where every slot us open.
Bro same. When we were getting paid $30/HR it was good and for top dashers it meant we could dash whenever we wanted. Now even if you're Platinum you cannot dash now when you want to, having to rely on this bullshit scheduling. It doesn't make sense they're basically saying they don't give a fuck about their top dashers because they're leaving the window open to everyone, like throwing bread to starving children. I think top dashers should be better prioritized so they know whose really breaking their backs out there, like we should get first picks on the schedule or something IDK.. it seems like literally anything could be better than the way they have it now deadass
Platinum dashers are “supposed” to get first pick at the schedule 3:00 everyday…but u can go on at 3:00 on the dot and the only thing that will be there is 3:00pm-4:00pm and you won’t be able to get it…it will say slots already been filled but when you refresh it it’s still there…it’s a glitch caused by the bots these European guys are using to control the market…they’re everywhere…most of them drive Prius that’s the easiest way to identify them…some of them drive Camrys and other Toyota makes…but the majority of them drive Prius and most of them are older men 40 and up…they are big time hackers…they have full control of the app…they get all the schedule slots and and they get most of the high paying orders…these guys don’t sleep they’re on the road from sun up to sun down and even through the night…they work in groups and they swarm the hotspots…you could be sitting at a hotspot for the whole 10 min and not get 1 order and can see them get a order drop it off come back and get another one…it’s disgusting and DoorDash doesn’t care because their orders are getting delivered…it’s literally over for the food delivery game for us native New Yorkers…where’s ICE when you need em!!!?
@@ayjntghostall theses delivery app are going down hill. They deactivate you for anything. Is not the same anymore. Door dash in ny you only get half hour to dash. Is no room to make money anymore
Sometimes the app also glitches with the time zone or something and states that your dash ended because you didnt start an hour earlier than you were actually scheduled.
