I learn it by self-taught, and it took me like couple years. I think the best way to learn is watching RUclips Tutorial and do more practice. You are welcome to ask me any question about using PS and AI, or any other software if I know how to use them I am willing to tell.
How did you turn the image into a transparent shape, where you could fill in the white background. I'll pay for this trick. I turned down the playback speed and still didn't catch on lol.

The images I used in the video are all transparent, what you need to do is fill the background where you want by using white brush.
