- This is a travelogue of Japanese mom and daughter. While traveling, going to a crowded tourist spot is a good idea, but asking for recommendations from locals is the best option. We went to the shrine on the ocean. It was a great meditation experience, feeling the magnificent nature and purifying our bodies and minds.

Moto is such a kind, gentle and caring man....he was carrying Sutan and always made sure to stop and help Moe while climbing down the stairs. Warms my heart to see such love in the world 😊

@@oti3027 this is not everyone's "normal" unfortunately.
He's so strong too, that was a long way to carry a child and doing stairs. The men here do things like that but there are loads of contraptions that help, like backpacks that let your kid see over your head or strapped to your stomach, so they have their hands free. Because the men are stronger it makes sense that they usually wear those, esecially if mom is wrangling more kids too.
Well, we didn't hear about his first marriage.
I guess sometimes, after we go through a lot of struggle and pain, we rise up as better people.
His wife is also gentle and hardworking... They rub off each other, I suppose.
She even acknowledged his hardwork and apologized for complaining. How many wives will do that?! 17:56
@@cathhl2440 Yes! I truly believe experience hardships make us better people. Also, Moe’s second marriage so I think they both keep growing better. Not everyone does that though.
When I see how happy Sutan became with a simple card, I think: Humans could be better If only kept that child inside.

I know Moe and Moto have a great relationship, but that conversation on the way home, when Moe recognize Moto's own hardship and apologizes for her complaining was just...admirable. They're not undermining each other's "hardship" but they acknowledge that each of them have their own burden to carry and no one has it harder. And she says it so casually that it's probably a normal thing to say, to appreciate and acknowledge each other! It's so beautiful!
I think Moto deserves a round of applause...and maybe a massage...after carrying Sutan up and down and all around the many, many steps at Ryugu Shrine! 👏👏👏👏 😄

Sutan might have been a bit embarrassed when given the cake and drawing but she seemed so proud of the drawing in private, carrying it with her the next day.

I was very shy when I was a child, and I often felt so overwhelmed with feelings like gratitude that I couldn't express them. Now I'm a writer! Haha. I guess I grew out of it.

Moto seems like such a chill dude. Definitely seems like he'd make a great drinking buddy.
Locals know the best spots for food, scenery, and more. Getting off the tourist path is fun. In fact when I was in Tokyo for vacation years ago I would split between tourist attractions and wandering around looking for places to see. You can find many places that never will make it into tourist activities but contains the soul of the area.

The location was kind of godly! I have fear of heights so even just by watching my legs are shaking but you can feel kind of godly energy from the area, maybe thats why its a shrine? Local trips are the best! I really appreciate this Moe! More adventures to come. Sutan looks so 😐😐 love u guys!💛
Sutan is super adorable. At first she was shy when she received a drawing from someone but then she loves it so much that even when she just woke up that was the first thing she grabbed. It's a cute Sutan on that drawing; keepsake forever.

I wanted to hug you when you expressed how regretful you felt for saying ‘You’re not home at all’ to Moto. Raising a child is no walk in the park, you are a hard working mama and a very appreciative wife. Your hardship is valid and complaining doesn’t make you a lesser person. Sutan and Moto are lucky to have you.
You guys together make such a beautiful family. I pray with all my heart to God to protect you from all evils and sorrows and bless you with all your wishes in life. Just like Moe for some unknown reason almost teared up looking at the serenity of the beautiful Ryugu shrine, I myself ended up crying looking at what a precious family you are. I am so glad that Sutan was born in such a loving and warm family. You all are such genuine souls. Please never change.
Also I so wish the person who drew Sutan that adorable card watches this video and sees how much love Sutan gave to it. She was extremely delighted but just couldn't bring herself to express it so suddenly like most kids her age. So even if she was shy to say thank you, she was enthralled and full of gratitude for that card.

This place is a lot like my hometown in China, with very very similar coast, maybe it's just right across the sea! Reminds me of the days when I went to the beach for picnics with my parents when I was a kid~

Sutan is really clever and thoughtful . She neither cried nor annoyed her father while hiking with extreme awareness. If I were live there, I would always hike up there and do my favorite work alone with calming and relaxing. And also enjoy the mother nature. 🌸Such a lovely and caring family. 💕Always love and admire y'all.
Sutan reminds me so much of my oldest daughter when she was the same age. One happy memory is when I took her to an orchard and she went to a pumpkin patch for the first time. My husband had to work, and I was nervous about going alone with her, but we had so much fun! Seeing our children having fun, exploring new surroundings, and enjoying nature is always wonderful.

I know that a lot of people dream of traveling to Japan, and want to go to the cities like Tokyo and Kyoto, to see the sites. That would be fun, but I think I would rather explore the out-of-the-way places such as the shrine. There is a real beauty to be found in quiet, secluded places.
There is, but they’re not tourist friendly. If you can’t read and speak the language, you’re really going to struggle. I’ve been to the out of the way places and had I not had my family there, there’s no way I would’ve been able to navigate through it on my own w/o a lot of stress. The sites in Kyoto and Nara are incredibly beautiful, albeit crowded, and are very tourist friendly. If you’re not familiar with the language or modes of transport, it’s best to stick to those places, at least for your first visit.
@@BubblyViolin11 I'm certain the language barrier would be quite a challenge, outside the major cities. I'm an old guy and just foolish enough that I'd still probably give it a try, so it's probably a good thing that I'll most likely never have the chance to travel there. For my own enjoyment and challenge, I have been studying the language for around a year, but still very bad at it. I do know enough to avert one major catastrophe though, as I can tell the difference between the men's room 男, and the ladies' room 女. :)
