I've always loved how this track is heartwrenching and sad, but grand and epic at the same time. Like it's the end of one chapter, but the start of another.

The music and the lyrics are so painfully beautiful. It makes me sad that Thomas has had to go through such heartbreak. But unlike most artists who turned that relational heartbreak into vicious lyrics against their exes, Thomas has always shown respect. Which only raises my already high respect for him.

This song was built for my Mom…. She passed to cancer on September 11 last year… and while my Dad passed two months later…. I cry uncontrollably thinking of her…. I didn’t get One Last Day with her, but this is a great substitute. Thomas, Thank You for making HER song mine.❤️🩹

This might be the most... significant song for me. This album was released shortly after my only group of real friends left me due to issues with my mental health. I've struggled alot with abandonment in my short life, so when this song came on when I was just shuffling through Bergersen's work, I nearly burst into tears. He and TSFH have made alot of songs I've loved because I could feel myself as the singer/player. This song was truly the first time I felt like the words were being sung TO me, rather than by me. I have longed to hear someone speak these words, to have my effort recognized, to know that I was beautiful when I love, to know that I had a positive impact on another's life. Sadly, I've never gotten one last day, but I can only hope that those who left me behind felt this way, even if they couldn't express it.
I feel empathy for you. I'm sure you will feel better soon and make new friends. Remember: the most marvellous encounters happen at random and by chance. It could be in a bus, in a train, in a plane or anywhere else really...
Not everyone can accept everything of another person. It's a sad truth that I have seen with my own eyes, and someone dear to me almost left this world because of it. I know that I'm a stranger to you, but I accept all of who you are, and everything that you bring to the table. Eventually, you will find others who will do the same, and you'll be able to share your life with them. I also live on because of her (the one that I took in), and I find my worth in her every day. May you and all who read this be blessed with the same.

My best friend from 2013 had parted ways since 2016 and it kinda made me very bitter afterward. We created our own world with our imagination, and we would play in that world every day we would hang out. I cherished that world we created so much that I find myself visiting it when I zone out, and it felt lonely. I wanted those times back, but that won't be possible now. I never expected him to cross my mind when hearing this song, but it gave me the closure I needed to move on, and simply remember those days fondly instead of wishing for what could have been.

The last three lines are exactly how me and my best friends left each other. I was getting into my car to leave home one last time after a long night with the boys. It was early in the morning, and as a group for the last time he huddled up and i said "i dont have anything else to say. There isnt much i can say" my best friend said through tears "it shouldn't end like this. Not like this" i replied "hey at least we went out with a bang" we cried and hugged for the last time. I drove off and here we are. It feels like so long ago.

My favourite from Chapter V with Memoria. It is such a great mix of joy, freedom, happiness but at the same time also thoughtful and regrettful.
Thomas Bergersen, your music will always have a special place in my heart. Your melodies shaped me into who I am today. In a way I consider this song the prequel to Memoria, even though the Aventura Suite has the OLD segment after the Mem segment. Really beautiful song overall and one of the top tier tracks of Humanity V

It is reminding me of what I experience when I gaze at the Eucharist as heaven comes down to Earth and we are transported to the exact day of when The Last Supper occurred.
