Hi, i want to buy a 18inch laptop this year and you review already Msi, asus and acer but they not we're that well in your tests... I hope you can review the alienware m18 r2 soon. Also there's will be razer blade 18 later but razer is always so expensive ahah
I just looked at the LG Flex 42" at my local hardware store, and i can only agree, man those Oleds can look amazing, but that particular panel is just insanely overpriced since it has the motorized function built in and what not. but definately looking to get one of the new 32" Oled's that are coming out this year, but around 1500 euro is pretty steep, prolly will wait till they go down a bit in pricing.
We have already reviewed both: ruclips.net/video/AsxhyscqQzM/видео.html ruclips.net/video/AsxhyscqQzM/видео.html If you want to compare the scores/performance for both, you can also do that on our website. Just follow the link below, and if you scroll down to CPU performance, for example, there is a little search under every compare element in which you can look for the G16, and its values will show up! www.notebookcheck.net/Asus-ROG-Zephyrus-G14-2024-review-The-gaming-multimedia-laptop-with-Ryzen-8000-and-G-Sync-OLED.800772.0.html
I don't get it, there is a version of this monitor that came in sale already in may 2023? So why so many recent reviews of this all of a sudden (I think it's the same version). I hate these confusing and bad naming conversions..
As RTINGS has showed time and time again, burn is guaranteed within 24 months of actual monitor use (within 6 months on 5% greys). If you don't get 3 years of burn-in warranty, do not get this. Also disregard anecdotal experiences, especially LG TV nerds with WOLEDs.
Well how come my oled tv doesnt have burn in after 2 years and 2k hrs of use? If it's guaranteed to get burn in after 2 years why hasn't mine gotten any at all?
Honestly I think the biggest reason why this is $800 and not $1000 is because phillips in the US is not the known brand name it once was 15-20 years ago. I remember my old CRT TV and I remember how good that was so that little for a phillips monitor that is also good? Sign me up.
Guys: If you havent experienced the difference between an IPS and OLED on laptops, go to your nearest retailer and see for yourself. Every IPS is crap in comparison.
I remember the first laptop oled screens and they were just to dim. (First galaxy book) Of course now they've gotten very good! @@NotebookcheckReviews
Not for what you are getting and what these are usually going for. That was what I meant in the video, it's not a budget panel at all, but it's still quite reasonable for what you are getting.
I would love something as 'dumb' as a 1080p60 oled screen. I don't have high resolution or refresh rate demands, I just want the deep blacks and the great contrast! Too bad there are no low end options
There are many 27" Oled panels coming to market soon, and some are even available already! Just because it's not the right screen for you, doesn't make it dumb :)
Currently rocking an LG C2 OLED for my consoles and media center right now. Planning to get an LG34GS95QE for my PC when they finally release.
Sweet, the LGs are 240 Hz, right?!
I am testing the Agon Pro 49" Super Ultrawide right now, an amazing panel as well!

100Hz HDMI? Does that mean it can show EU 50hz content without weird stuttering?
Is it vesa mountable? Have a very good monitor arm that i would like to use with this
It does come with a square bracket vesa mount inside the box.

I agree; you are paying a lot for the novelty.
The 4k 240Hz are pretty insane as well, but I kinda fell in love with Ultrawide!

That occured while watching ccn with the letterbox below on full brightness for 700 hours straight. What sane person would do this?

What game were you playing. The one switching characters?
That's Banishers: Ghosts of new Eden
Awesome, story driven adventure!
I'd like to see how the new Dell XPS 16 stacks up against it's competitors and it's previous model on 2024
Me too ;)
I hope we can get Samples soon!
Is this moniter good for consoles?
Unfortunately I only tried it with PCs!
None ultrawide monitor is good for consoles
I think LG C3 remains a better choice.
I do not think you can compare a TV to a monitor!
@@NotebookcheckReviews Of course you can.
What? Pwm on the oled too?? What?

Agreed, it ruins everything else for you in terms of image quality! :D

Give them a 3 year of casual usage and we will see which one is crap.
Ips is not bad for badget consumers
So 800€ is not eyewatering now? :P

Yes it's massively eye watering. Wait many years until OLED monitors become mainstream and cheaper. $800 for a computer screen is dumb

800 vs 900 aint really that much cheaper clickbait vagrant
That's a dumb size. We want OLED, 1440P, 144Hz, 27"
There are many 27" Oled panels coming to market soon, and some are even available already!
Just because it's not the right screen for you, doesn't make it dumb :)
This is a dumb comment. TONS of people want ultra wide. You sound dumb for thinking them offering it is dumb
