Hello, I am new to your channel, I have been watching some of your videos for a couple of weeks, and they are serving me a lot, my native language is Spanish, I do not speak much English, so the subtitles help me a lot, since these translate better than the automatically generated subtitles.
Thank you very much for all the knowledge you share.
Best regards
I love your videos and channel! I'm in TCC time and it's helping me a lot! I don't understand English so well so please continue with the Portuguese subtitles!♥️

your presentation is pretty . too much commitment to do it myself tho.
Awesome
thanks for sharing
I love your graphic style and really enjoy your videos - there's so much to learn and absorb in just few minutes! A brief introduction sounds great - none of the other tutorials actually has this kind of bonus info compressed!
Question: do you use Revit and if not - why do you find SketchUp better?
Thank you - your help is appreciated by all of us! :)
Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback Diana!
For me, revit and Sketchup have very different uses. One if for documentation and solving things that the project will later need in the design process. As Sketchup is perfect for a quick concept modeling, and generating visuals, diagrams, and so on.
Yes, Revit does have the massing type of tool, but we all know it's not the same thing. It is too limiting.
I talked about Revit because your mentioned it. But I'm speaking about basically all BIM softwares that I've tested.
At the moment my BIM software of choice is Archicad. So good! For me at least 😁
I hope this makes sense to you Diana! Cheers
@@LearnUpstairs Yes, it does! Thank you!
Archicad was the first BIM software that I ever used - and I found it more pleasant and friendly than Revit later. However, most firms I am looking at use Revit and it seems like Archicad is not a common thing here at all (I'm a student in the UK).
Sketchup gives that freedom, it is true, therefore it used to be confusing or not 'correct' enough. After your tutorials though.. I am convinced to give it another shot!
Many thanks again!
Thanks a lot for the tutorial!!
los subtítulos son importantes, para poder traducir. :) thx
thanks for sharing :)
Thanks for sharing. Great artistic result. I’m really thrilled with conceptual design as opposed to realistic design. You are obviously very comfortable with photoshop. I’m more of a SketchUp fan and I believe (assuming I had your artistic understanding, which I don’t) that I could have technically achieved the same result from within SketchUp without resorting the photoshop. Horses for courses.
Thanks a lot Jeff!
Yes, you can definitely achieve a similar result using only Sketchup.
Well sort of the same. Specially when we talk about line hierarchy, sketchup doesn't have that option.
But if you're really into sketchup, you can develop a unique workflow to make that work out.
Maybe also save it as a Style and have it ready to go. Good job 👍👍
Great tutorial!! thank you!
Is this possible with a Revit model as well?
Yes! Just make sure to export all the images showed in the video. Then you go from there following the steps in photoshop.
Thank you for the feedback 😁
i like your video u r awsome
Paulo Mendes Da Rocha
Descobri o canal hj tbm!

Hi Maria! I can understand a bit of spanish, but I can't write properly. You should try to increase the dpi resolution if you're in photoshop.
But if you're exporting from Cad or Illustrator, it should come all sharp and crisp because you're dealing with vector shapes.
Thanks a lot for the feedback!
Great contents
Thank you!
awsome
It is a very beautiful tutorial, could you please post the link where I can download the 3d model? Thank you
Hi Claudio! Thanks a lot!
The link is over the video description, it's a website called "Arquiteturas Exemplares" or in english: Exemplary Architectures
Hello there OU I am a huge fan, I follow you on youtube, insta, and have boughten some your texture packs! You have helped me become a way better graphic designer and my school projects are getting better every time. I just have to ask, how exactly do you scale the pdfs to the pngs? I am having a really hard time with figuring that part out.
Hi Dakota! Thanks a lot for your warming message, I really appreciate it :)
Usually, I export the PDF from Archicad with the correct scale, but that being for plans, sections, and all 2d drawings. In my experience, there isn't really a need for the Isometric to have an exact scale.
But if you really need to give a proper dimension reference, I'd suggest using graphic scales. That way you can resize the isometric and still have that graphic scale next to it resized.
By the way, I export the graphic scale alongside the pdf from Archicad. (When I say Archicad, I mean that you can use any CAD or BIM software of your choice).
Oh and I usually don't export pngs from Archicad. Only PDF and then if needed I'll import it to Photoshop and convert to an image file.
I hope that helps!
eu uso a legenda, e obrigado pela iniciativa
Opa beleza! Os videos novos mantive a legenda 😁
Eu acho a legenda mto importante, parabéns!!
Beleza! Estou mantendo em todos os vídeos! Obrigado 😁
Que top, namoral ! Parece aquele jogo habbo kkkk. Gostei muito dessa aula. Sabendo que é BR é até melhor para tirar duvidas. [+1 INSCRITO]
Valeu leonardo! Hahhah 👊
I was wondering if pixels you designate differs on bigger monitors? I plug my laptop into my 65" tv, it makes 3d modelling better to model up.
Nice
Good job
Thanks!!!
Perfeito o vídeo
Obrigado, expelos!
Muy buen tutorial, sobre todo para entender el workflow, pero se acabaron los subtitulos en español :(
Really solid video, man.
I understand all of what you do fine, although i am not up there with Photoshop yet...as you’re using clipping masks, and other things that i have heard about..but don’t quite grasp well enough to use in a fluid manner. So.. some of the steps, specially the tips that you give, on those kinds of moves ....i’m still missing them.
If you are able to link us to other videos that can illustrate what you talk about, that would be great, so that it won’t slow these ones down, by going through all the boring details, but will allow us, the ones still lagging behind, to move up to speed on what you are doing.
obrigado, cara,
o teu canal é mesmo muito útil. e curto a tua atitude.
kudos , de Portugal. ;)
Hey V4D2, thanks a lot for the feedback!
We have a course on architectural post-production. You can know more about it here:

good!
Heey thank you for all
Congrats for using Brazilian Architecture!
🙌🇧🇷
Sir, please tell me from where did you learned software skills in such a depth. Each video in your channel is soo useful. And how much time you required to learn🧐
Amazing tutorial - love this! Noob question tho, how do you select and move the entire roof section in Sketchup, and not just selecting one side? Thanks!
Hey Lewis, thanks a lot! There's no such thing as a noob question. But I'm not entirely sure I got what you meant.
Since I had already planned to "explode" the roof, I made sure to group the objects that were going up together, so then it was a matter of using the Move Tool (M) to move on the blue axis.
It's also important to export them separately (base and roof), so that in Illustrator or Photoshop you have the creative freedom of choosing how far the parts will be from each other, and also what will connect them (if it's going to be dotted lines, dashed lines, or something else...)
I hope that clears your initial doubts.
@@LearnUpstairs Hey mate thanks for getting back! I understand where you are now, the model I'd downloaded was only selection faces of an object instead of the whole thing, for some reason. Thanks again - looking forward to getting into your other vids :)
does this thing is time consuming or one can do it in certain time like 2 hours something?
It can definitely be done in 2 hours. It took me around 1h30
Can you do the same with a cad programm (like archicad) and then photoshop it like this?
Definitely! Archicad has a built in render that I almost sure exports a clay render.
You can also generate a only line image and bring all of that into photoshop
