Used this style in architecture school to show my concept and workflow years ago when I stumbled upon BIG, made it very easy for my audience to understand and they loved it. I wasn't very well versed in animation and rendering as other students but as it turned out, simple is best.
I was among the best in my year at Rendering when I started, though I learned a good lesson at the beginning of Stage 2 (year 2) that good rendering skills don't matter shit if you can't simply and succinctly explain the design process. From there on, I relied more on experimentation in the early stages to ensure I got the massing and identity right early on, and less on relying on renders to achieve design validity. From there, my grades improved drastically. Good lesson.
Já chego no LIKE!
Hello! I'm Landscape architecture student from Estonia. I also work with Photoshop and I'm interested in how to make a color visual distinction of folders. The video is very useful for me. Thanks man!
Hi Andreas! Thanks a lot for the feedback. I used the line pass to make these selections, which will do basically the same thing as a material pass. But for sure you could use other to create the selections. Since these were single areas. A line pass can do the job. But if we were to select all of the roads, or in a interior render (all of the glass). A material pass would certainly be better. I hope this makes sense 😅
Hi Wang. I'm aware that someone in China is using my content without my permission 😓 but I haven't been able to report them. Could you send me the link? If possible hit me up @ou.graphics on instagram, I'd really appreciate 🙏
Fala Luiz! O nicho de representação arquitetônica já é muito pequeno, não vale a pena limitar mais ainda fazendo somente em português. Nos estamos trabalhando nas legendas PT-BR pro curso que saiu e os videos aqui no youtube também tem
hello , thanks for it , i love it , a question : what do you export of Photoshop to Illustrator ? what is the reason ? , i think that i can do it in itself
Hi Andres, thanks! Photoshop and Illustrator have two very different approaches when it comes to visualization and diagrams. I like to use them both at the same time so I get the best of both worlds. I usually use Illustrator to clean up the file and make changes to the line weight. And then I import into Photoshop to work on the rest
Very helpful and thank u!! But I want to know how did you create the 3D of the site in sketch up? What’s the workflow? I was imagining maybe draw the lines in Cad and then import the drawing into sketch up and extrude the surfaces?
Hi Miyi! Thanks a lot! Usually the 3D is modelled just like you described. You create your site documentation first, then import into Sketchup to extrude them. Take a look at the website cadmapper, they have these site models ready for you to download
bro those brush setting tips just changed my world

Hello! I'm Landscape architecture student from Estonia.
I also work with Photoshop and I'm interested in how to make a color visual distinction of folders. The video is very useful for me. Thanks man!
Hi Ilja! You can color code the folder by right clicking on the visibility eye right next to the folder.
You can do this to individual layers as well

Thanks for the video! I assume that is it available to share sample file for practice?
So helpful, thanks!
Very nice tutorial - thanks for that. One question... Why you're not using your passes to mask e.g. the tree circles? or coloring the sea?

Hey ! I love your channel, as a student in architecture, it's so helpful !
But, where can I find a 3d SketchUp model of a precise part of city ?
Cadmapper could work!
@@taragalmart5865 Great ! Thanks ! 👍👌
You could also go to digimaps, they are very accurate and have topography as well
@@j1d2o3t Thanks !
What plugin did u use for the 3d buildings?
