The giant mech, kuvira and weapons energy are individually dangerous. She stopped the weapons blast that can devoid anything along its ways. That is 1000x powerful than tons of boulders like a size of a mountain or razor sharp water jets tsunamis or lava. Not to mentuon even kyoshi wont be able to bend boulders as fast as the energy beam herself. For me bending that has to do with counteracting is harder just like redirecting lightning than just bending massively. Its like lifting a heavy barbell is easier than trying to catch it from falling or being thrown at full speed. Korra managed to bend this spectacularly without the help of the past lives. Without bunch of techniques, practical hand gestures to bend it beforehand that takes place for months or regular human base form needed before bending the energy in AS which is very important. Kyoshi Roku and Aang fully required all this before they were able to fully use Avatar State. Korra tanks the weapon under pressure, trial by fire and without even having time to maneuver. She justbraised her hands without breaking a sweat. Korra was gatekept for years with no childhood, lot of adventures, she had no interactions with four nations, diverse culture, political and global issues..she had no clue about almost everything even applying makeups and even teenage life which hindered her to develop other important soft skills needed to be a well rounded avatar meanwhile those are offered to aang since he was just a kid and an airnomad. If she had such things she would never be a person that lacks decision making, teamwork, patience and humility. But she prove she can when she helped air benders 6-8 months she left her cruel training camp. Korras power is immeasurable for me since she does not only know how to bend large amount of elements but she can also counteract even something more destructive than that.
Korra has consistently used multiple elements at once. Using both water and air spouts for mobility while attacking with other elements. By the end of Book 4 she is calm and calculating. In the video they even said that Korra's fight was personal. It was about domination rather than bending ability. In fact that entire fight was Kuvira backpedaling away, falling for feints, she was being subverted since Korra step into the room.

The past lives took over in the Ozai fight, everyone tends to think it was all Aang but he had no control. We can even hear the past lives talking through him about to kill Ozai. So basically the past lives did most of the work. This is why in Korra they decided to get rid of past lives, to show an avatars individual strength.

Although abilities and combat styles are very important in the fight, anything can happen in it. We know that Aang learned 3 elements in less than a year, when it took Koraa around 17 years to learn all of them. That means that Aang learns way faster which helps him understand and learn his opponents style and what they do in different situations. Also something we know about Korra is that she doesn’t really know which elements to use in the right scenario and on the right opponents. Because of that it is very possible that with Aang’s abilitie to learn that fast he will eventually realize that and use it against her and win the fight. And also if we do talk about fighting styles, Aang’s fighting style is a direct counter to Korra’s which means that he can dodge her attacks and defend everytime he can, and when he has an opening he can defeat her. Because of this I thing that Aang wins. (It’s just my opinion) But like a said earlier anything can happen in this fight so it impossible to say, after all everybody has different opinions.

You guys think not being able to control the avatar state is a powerful thing since it seems so but it actually was a weakness for Aang. Korra's avatar state doesn't seem that powerful because she's still in control. She bended a spirit beam powered by a whole jungle of spirit vines which was so strong that it created a new portal between the two worlds. I love Aang and believe he's very strong and a highly talented bender. But even though he's good at it, he's not a fighter. Korra on the other hand was born a fighter and would probably win almost every 1v1 against Aang with and without the avatar state.
Even though korra's raw power and prowess would give her a advantage even though she can be a bit impulsive sometimes aang's strategic, logical, creative and calm thinking would give him a edge against korra.
Who said aang doesn't have great raw power than korra , she is just strong physically because she is body builder girl 😅😅, but interms of bending aang has greater raw power. Eg=1, earth = in his battle vs ozai he was bending very huge pillars , breaking them to half, korra has to cut it with fire to bend one pillar , aang just broke them off and use them to block ozai's fire . The pillars were huge ,both pillars were equal to the boulder which korra threw at zaheer , that's korra's biggest earth bending feat , and aang also split acity .he also compressed rocks to pebbles which is very very hard . It requires significant power and control . 2, water =he compressed a fucking water which is almost impossible , Even if u did compress water you will only reduce very very small amount from it less than 1% . Aang is beating most of Korra’s villians with just Air bending including the entire Red Lotus. Also Aang is dodging all of Korra’s attacks and the fact that he can use Air bending to run faster than the wind which Korra has never done. Aang could literally beat Zaheer with his hands tied and just using Air Bending. Y’all are really undermining the fact that he was trained by Gyatso the Greatest earth bender who killed like a dozen fire nation soliders and it was during Sozin’s Comet too. And also Aang taught Tenzin so he can assume he can do everything Tenzin can and more. Mind you Tenzin beat 3/4 Red Lotus members alone. So I feel like Aang should be able to defeat all of them alone. Lets not forget Korra didn’t have 1 year to master all the elements and Aang already has all these feats. Imagine him after ALTA. Aang is a better Earth bender overall honestly. And he learned firebending from the Dragons and he knows lightning redirection and Korra has never done that. You can say he was running away from Ozai but he’s an airbender what do you want him to do. He could have killed him many times during the fight but decided not to so he didn’t kill him. Also Aang usually doesn’t even want to fight so. And nobody wants to talk about their Battle IQ and Strategy because we all know Aang wins there. She also has bad teamwork. Literally the only reason Korra even has her bending and no poison is because of Aang and his friends. Lets not forget that we are comparing a 21 year old to a 13 year old and its still close. Bruhh aang is like 12/13 years in the show, Korra starts way older, she had so much more time to develop, aang had to become the avatar within a year so he could defeat probably one of the strongest fire benders ever alive, he learned how to bend all the elements even energy bending and people forget that he was also trying to find peace in the fact that everybody he knew died because of him, so i personally thing that 18 year old Aang could easily defeat 18 year old Korra

My reasons why korra wins: 1. She knows more bending skills then aang, and rarer one’s like spirit bending. 2. The creators literally said she would win, there’s a video of it somewhere. 3. Korra was naturally strong like Kiyoshi, had a lot of bending strength and was versatile in her own way as well 4. She may have lost her past lives, but lemme tell you. She went deeper within herself and she found raava who has more wisdom and power than all the past avatars. (Making her have a more powerful spiritual connection) 5. Not to brag, but Korra was a natural. She could water bend, earth bend, and fire bend at an early age. 6. She literally turned into a giant energy manifestation of herself with cosmic and spiritual energy. 7. She faced on stronger opponents and survived. 8. She showed great intelligence and battle intelligence, like when tarrlok captured her and the chi blockers were coming to get her, but she used her arm band to life herself up and not get electrocuted and then she screamed in pain acting to trick the chi blockers, and then when they opened the door boom 💥 9. She surpassed aang in energy bending and in some other categories. Do I really need to explain the rest or are you aang meat riders gonna keep riding? 😂
In a video by Antoine Bandele he said that Aang would win. He said that Aang is better at avoiding attacks while Korra is better at withstanding attacks. Ultimately he believes Aang would dodge all of Korra's attacks drain her of her energy than deliver the final blow.

Aang and all avatars before him had a diminished raava, but korra has her at full power. The past lives are completely irrelevant to Prime Raava. Ten thousand years of avatars and they only got her to the size of a human while her full size had her as large as mountains.
Idk but i have feeling that aang didnt use a lot of strengh in hes bending cuz he wasnt so agressive like Korra, i think he could outsmart her easilly like he did with strong opponents without any knowledge about half of bending abilities. Comparing a 12 yr old to a 16/17 yr old is crazy. But here’s my opinion, Korra triumphs in the latter of categories while aang triumphs in speed agility and iq. If both them were pit against eachother Korras only shot at winning Is finishing aang off quick before aang reaches avatar state, but, if aang does make it to avatar states korra stands no chance. When aang when to avatar state you already knew it was over but when KORRA entered the avatar state it left us all disappointed as she got cooked EVERY TIME. In conclusion I most likely see Korra winning but we should honestly wait til a older aang gets released on tv so it would be a more even matchup but for now Korra hold the podium TEMPERARILY

Korra's avatar state is actually more powerful. We have to remember what powers the avatar state is Rava the light spirit, Korra fused with Rava when Rava was prime most powerful form. EVERY avatar before had a tiny weakened version of Rava. So technically Korra started an even stronger cycle of avatars, every avatar after will have maximium potential avatar state

Aang is slow in the avatar state, since he has to focus on all the elements. Yes he has good defense, he is still vulnerable since he puts his emotions second and integrity first this is a disadvantage to him since Korra is at the peek and extremely durable in the avatar state. if it weren't for the people Korra is surrounded with she could've kill all her enemies so if we remove Korra's friends she will end Aang. All traits you would find in Obiwan too. Korra is like the Anakin Skywalker of the Avatar verse. • shes VERY talentet at the Power system her verse works under, swap the Word force fore the Word bending. • shes very cocky and arrogant, thinking shes invinceble, do to growing op being told she was the chosen one of Said verse. One way to remember that Korra is a water bender is that she and the other water tribe people wear blue. Each nation has a colour(s) that their people wear. Also each nation has generally has an eye colour: Water tribe blue, Earth Kingdom green, Fire Nation hazel, and Air Nation Grey.

Korra was gatekept for years with no childhood, lot of adventures, she had no interactions with four nations, diverse culture, political and global issues..she had no clue about almost everything even applying makeups and even teenage life which hindered her to develop other important soft skills needed to be a well rounded avatar meanwhile those are offered to aang since he was just a kid and an airnomad. If she had such things she would never be a person that lacks decision making, teamwork, patience and humility. But she prove she can when she helped air benders 6-8 months she left her cruel training camp. Korras power is immeasurable for me since she does not only know how to bend large amount of elements but she can also counteract even something more destructive than that.
When korra enters AS she can easily yeet Unalaq out of the spirit portal like he was garbage using airbending alone. She can destroy kuvira in less than 10 seconds with just earth and air. Do u ever scale how powerful unalaq is? That demonic guy who is also a royalty of watertribes a rival of a firelord can tame and kill spirits that dont get die in a may form of fire attacks Ozai can perform. She broke out of blood bending without the avatar state, with just her own spirit she overpowered unavaatu without raava, she beat hundun after defeating an entire army of dark spirits, triple threats, and equalist, she defeated zaheer while heavily poisoned with metal, and she stopped a giant spirit nuke that opened up a new portal. Korra has prime raava and the strongest avatar state, she is canonically the most powerful avatar. Anyone who thinks aang wins is blinded by nostalgia. Dude Korra flat out has a greater avatar state than Aang, as it’s powered by Raava in her peak. Korra flat out stopped and was able to bend a laser so strong that it tore a hole in the physical plane to another dimension. Don’t get me wrong, Aang is great, but he’s not winning this fight. The creators have flat out said at a panel how this fight would go; with Aang running away 9 times out of 10 and getting beaten up on the chance Korra catches him.

Aang wouldve lost all the fights Korra fought. Korra losing to Aang's opponents is unlikely. Korra has good battle prowess in 1v1, and would probably outlast Aang since most of his attacks and fighting style does not pack a heavy punch.

The giant mech, kuvira and weapons energy are individually dangerous. She stopped the weapons blast that can devoid anything along its ways. That is 1000x powerful than tons of boulders like a size of a mountain or razor sharp water jets tsunamis or lava. Not to mentuon even kyoshi wont be able to bend boulders as fast as the energy beam herself. For me bending that has to do with counteracting is harder just like redirecting lightning than just bending massively. Its like lifting a heavy barbell is easier than trying to catch it from falling or being thrown at full speed.

Although abilities and combat styles are very important in the fight, anything can happen in it.
We know that Aang learned 3 elements in less than a year, when it took Koraa around 17 years to learn all of them. That means that Aang learns way faster which helps him understand and learn his opponents style and what they do in different situations. Also something we know about Korra is that she doesn’t really know which elements to use in the right scenario and on the right opponents.
Because of that it is very possible that with Aang’s abilitie to learn that fast he will eventually realize that and use it against her and win the fight.
And also if we do talk about fighting styles, Aang’s fighting style is a direct counter to Korra’s which means that he can dodge her attacks and defend everytime he can, and when he has an opening he can defeat her. Because of this I thing that Aang wins. (It’s just my opinion)

You guys think not being able to control the avatar state is a powerful thing since it seems so but it actually was a weakness for Aang. Korra's avatar state doesn't seem that powerful because she's still in control. She bended a spirit beam powered by a whole jungle of spirit vines which was so strong that it created a new portal between the two worlds.

Y’all are really undermining the fact that he was trained by Gyatso the Greatest earth bender who killed like a dozen fire nation soliders and it was during Sozin’s Comet too. And also Aang taught Tenzin so he can assume he can do everything Tenzin can and more. Mind you Tenzin beat 3/4 Red Lotus members alone. So I feel like Aang should be able to defeat all of them alone. Lets not forget Korra didn’t have 1 year to master all the elements and Aang already has all these feats. Imagine him after ALTA. Aang is a better Earth bender overall honestly. And he learned firebending from the Dragons and he knows lightning redirection and Korra has never done that.
You can say he was running away from Ozai but he’s an airbender what do you want him to do. He could have killed him many times during the fight but decided not to so he didn’t kill him. Also Aang usually doesn’t even want to fight so. And nobody wants to talk about their Battle IQ and Strategy because we all know Aang wins there. She also has bad teamwork. Literally the only reason Korra even has her bending and no poison is because of Aang and his friends.
Lets not forget that we are comparing a 21 year old to a 13 year old and its still close. That shows a lot.

My reasons why korra wins:
1. She knows more bending skills then aang, and rarer one’s like spirit bending.
2. The creators literally said she would win, there’s a video of it somewhere.
3. Korra was naturally strong like Kiyoshi, had a lot of bending strength and was versatile in her own way as well
4. She may have lost her past lives, but lemme tell you. She went deeper within herself and she found raava who has more wisdom and power than all the past avatars. (Making her have a more powerful spiritual connection)
5. Not to brag, but Korra was a natural. She could water bend, earth bend, and fire bend at an early age.
6. She literally turned into a giant energy manifestation of herself with cosmic and spiritual energy.
7. She faced on stronger opponents and survived.
8. She showed great intelligence and battle intelligence, like when tarrlok captured her and the chi blockers were coming to get her, but she used her arm band to life herself up and not get electrocuted and then she screamed in pain acting to trick the chi blockers, and then when they opened the door boom 💥
9. She surpassed aang in energy bending and in some other categories.

Comparing a 12 yr old to a 16/17 yr old is crazy. But here’s my opinion, Korra triumphs in the latter of categories while aang triumphs in speed agility and iq. If both them were pit against eachother Korras only shot at winning Is finishing aang off quick before aang reaches avatar state, but, if aang does make it to avatar states korra stands no chance. When aang when to avatar state you already knew it was over but when KORRA entered the avatar state it left us all disappointed as she got cooked EVERY TIME. Korra's avatar state is actually more powerful. We have to remember what powers the avatar state is Rava the light spirit, Korra fused with Rava when Rava was prime most powerful form. EVERY avatar before had a tiny weakened version of Rava. So technically Korra started an even stronger cycle of avatars, every avatar after will have maximium potential avatar state

Yes he has good defense, he is still vulnerable since he puts his emotions second and integrity first this is a disadvantage to him since Korra is at the peek and extremely durable in the avatar state. if it weren't for the people Korra is surrounded with she could've kill all her enemies so if we remove Korra's friends she will end Aang. One way to remember that Korra is a water bender is that she and the other water tribe people wear blue. Each nation has a colour(s) that their people wear. Also each nation has generally has an eye colour: Water tribe blue, Earth Kingdom green, Fire Nation hazel, and Air Nation Grey.
Korra wins, and you can't tell me otherwise. She knows Raava better than Aang, and she has great physical strength. In the few seconds Korra put her hands on him, she'll body him for real. And Korra has more control over the Avatar State.

In Korra, she would always end up losing even in avatar state. I don't remember Aang losing that many times especially in avatar state. Aang wins.
The giant mech, kuvira and weapons energy are individually dangerous. She stopped the weapons blast that can devoid anything along its ways. That is 1000x powerful than tons of boulders like a size of a mountain or razor sharp water jets tsunamis or lava. Not to mentuon even kyoshi wont be able to bend boulders as fast as the energy beam herself. For me bending that has to do with counteracting is harder just like redirecting lightning than just bending massively. Its like lifting a heavy barbell is easier than trying to catch it from falling or being thrown at full speed.
Korra managed to bend this spectacularly without the help of the past lives. Without bunch of techniques, practical hand gestures to bend it beforehand that takes place for months or regular human base form needed before bending the energy in AS which is very important. Kyoshi Roku and Aang fully required all this before they were able to fully use Avatar State. Korra tanks the weapon under pressure, trial by fire and without even having time to maneuver. She justbraised her hands without breaking a sweat.
Korra was gatekept for years with no childhood, lot of adventures, she had no interactions with four nations, diverse culture, political and global issues..she had no clue about almost everything even applying makeups and even teenage life which hindered her to develop other important soft skills needed to be a well rounded avatar meanwhile those are offered to aang since he was just a kid and an airnomad. If she had such things she would never be a person that lacks decision making, teamwork, patience and humility. But she prove she can when she helped air benders 6-8 months she left her cruel training camp.
Korras power is immeasurable for me since she does not only know how to bend large amount of elements but she can also counteract even something more destructive than that.
When korra enters AS she can easily yeet Unalaq out of the spirit portal like he was garbage using airbending alone. She can destroy kuvira in less than 10 seconds with just earth and air.
Do u ever scale how powerful unalaq is? That demonic guy who is also a royalty of watertribes a rival of a firelord can tame and kill spirits that dont get die in a may form of fire attacks Ozai can perform.

Like I don't understand how you could say this. Aang's spirit almost lost to ozai and needed ravaa to boost him to the required unbendable spirit for energy bending. Korra on the other hand through the course of 4 seasons and 21 years is a fully developed and realized avatar who's own spirit outmatched Prime Unavatuu. Like seriously I love ATLA but there's an extent nostalgia and favouritism is disgusting and you force more based fans of the verse like myself to excessively explain why Lol has good parts(objectively better than the original) and that apart from The OG series having the honorary Epic placement, all fans have preference on their preferred series so like me I originally loved ATLA before and after I first watched it before I even thought of LOK but after watching Korra then rewatching both series a good amount I can honestly say I tend to be a bit more anticipatory to get LOK. Dude Korra flat out has a greater avatar state than Aang, as it’s powered by Raava in her peak. Korra flat out stopped and was able to bend a laser so strong that it tore a hole in the physical plane to another dimension. Don’t get me wrong, Aang is great, but he’s not winning this fight. The creators have flat out said at a panel how this fight would go; with Aang running away 9 times out of 10 and getting beaten up on the chance Korra catches him.

@@CK-Animator no he doesn’t. The power of the avatar state is dependant on the size of Raava. As of now, Korra has the largest and strongest version of Raava. As for Aang “taking away her bending” that outcome is extremely unlikely. Aang barely survived taking Ozai’s bending. His spirit was almost corrupted and destroyed in the process. Doing so against Korra who is immeasurably stronger than Ozai, would not work.

Korra is generally strong physically and mentally. She also has strong endurance. She can defeat Aang if she engages him in a direct physical fight, or if the place is small and narrow, but on the other hand, Aang is smarter than her and has better battle skills than her. He may be able to evade her easily or use Korra's strength against her. I would like to I remember that if Korra tries to fight calmly and with concentration, she may outperform Aang as well. If the situation is critical, it will cause Aang to become angry, which will make him an invincible fighter, even for Korra, which leads me to mention the Avatar Mode, and it is clear that Aang's is stronger than her because he can remove the bend.In sum ,Both avatars have strengths and weaknesses, and we can only judge the winner based on the details of the battle

Aang wouldve lost all the fights Korra fought. Korra losing to Aang's opponents is unlikely. Korra has good battle prowess in 1v1, and would probably outlast Aang since most of his attacks and fighting style does not pack a heavy punch.

Yakone uses it more brutally that's why aang needed the avatar state, and korra didn't because interms of blood bending raw power yakone is more powerful than amon plus amon was shot by mqko's lightning which weakned him, . Aang can literally reflect lighting even if Korra knew lightning bending Aang reflect it and send it back to Korra then Korras dead let's be realistic here Korra doesn't know how to lightning bend Korra might be stronger then Aang but Aang is more agile and skilled
Saying Korra shrugged off bloodbending while Aang needed the avatar state is erroneous for two reasons.
1. Amon wasn't trying to kill Korra. Yakone was trying to kill Aang.
2. Korra was HELPLESS against Tarrlok's bloodbending because he had the intention of taking her out whereas Amon only wanted to hold her back. If Amon wanted to kill Korra with bloodbending, she would need the avatar state. Either that or she dies
Aang has not once came close to stopping a bloodbender without the avatar state. When hama bloodbended aang she legit tossed him around like a ragdoll💀
