@ My bad, class has been kicking my ass. Idk largest deals, deals that were killer to work but fell through at the final stretch, craziest coworkers straight out of the pages of Liar’s Poker (I know that’s S&T but still, might have some characters that worked at GS). Something like that
same dude the other day when i typing a tweet and made a super minor typo my cortisol went up through the roof man most stressful day of my life frfr WOW youre so strong and went through so much
@ thank you for responding! I do have another question if you don’t mind. If it were you what major would you pick between economics and accounting for university/undergraduate? there isn’t a finance major in my country so I have to pick between these two.
@@lazimiamor I'd lean slightly more towards Econ because that's what I'm used to seeing for bankers I know. But for your specific situation, I would suggest going on linkedin to look up alumni from your specific school at investment banks and see what majors they were. Even better, I would reach out to some of them - give them a little background and ask if they have 20 minutes for a short chat about their career and building their career in banking. Be prepared, research their background, and write down a lot of good questions ahead of time. HF!
“Feels like you’re James Bond”
*literally double checking a powerpoint*
That is crazy that you're part of the Disney's Marvel acquisition and even crazier how the story of it unfolds LOL
Sometimes you never know what will happen, I learned you just gotta keep pitching and keep trying!
Great story! It really fills the void in YT of what a day in IB can really be like. Sharing more stories from the “trenches” would be great!
Glad you enjoyed it! Will def take that into consideration. Any type of trenches story you want to hear more about?

Awesome video, would love to see a video about your exit and time in VC and your updated resume as an experienced worker if you have the time.
Glad you enjoyed it! Will consider that, definitely an important part of the journey.
Great content!!

Thanks man!
Man that’s an AWESOME deal. Wish you could’ve gotten a tombstone for that

Great Advice Peter! Thanks for sharing

Ben what is the most particular kind of analyst role to be a C level character in the investment bank easily than others

It’s a logo…
peter may I ask what degree you studied at undergraduate/university?
I studied Business Administration. Major is helpful, but getting finance internships is extremely, if not more important.

Why were you waking up at 11AM on a Friday lol
Because he left the office at 8am
You felt like James Bond ? 😂😂😂😂… bruh you cut a logo out and copy pasted something on Microsoft word…
Clearly the acquisition would never have closed if that minor logo error had slipped through 😜.
Lol, the all important game-changing logo!
