There's an scp channel that actually talked about this, and in the channel he said that you will indeed not be attacked by scp 096 if you were forgot what scp 096 face looked like or just didn't remember anything after looking scp 096 face. Unless if you look at scp 096 face again, you're dead

Theres a reason that the MTF is called the MTF, on site security or something similar exists.
They can't stay at one facility because they are always, ALWAYS needed. Don't ask why because idk
1st: With so many dedicated sites, which are all Semi-canon, MTF cant be stationed there forever. They gotta move at some point to aid in contaiment/recontainment with other SCPs. Plus, each MTF unit specialized in SOMETHING. "City Slickers" are proficient in urban environments, and "Mole Rats" are good at underwater and subterranean environments where things are usually cramped. You call in what you need, when you need it.
2nd: They dont leave containment for this, but they do get waste removed from their cells, if they produce anything. Most dont, so this is a case-by-case deal. For example, 096 doesnt need food, water, air, or even make waste. He's in a sealed box at all times, only leaving if someone looked at his face somehow.
3rd: Already tested. It wont matter. Even if you change dimensional planes, he will STILL get you on the way back (or follow you if he can). Though if YOU gave him the amnestics, that'd be a good question, but considering he can sense that you looked at his face (even unknowingly) from ANYWHERE, I doubt it would do anything.

Ngl the foundation has the funding and the methods to have more skilled soldiers such as MTF on site, all theyd have to do is make it so all security personnel can be in a task force labled the ATF (Armed Task Force) so that groups such as Nu-7, E-11 and B-7 (and depending on the site it can be more obscure task forces) and it would theoretically be safer, just more expensive

For the first one, there simply isn’t enough mtf to do that sort of thing, 2 certain scps do but not all and lastly, doesn’t matter.

2. Not all SCPs have to use the bathroom and if they do then a bathroom is incorporated into their cell
3. If you see him, you die. Doesn’t matter if you forget or if you even know you’ve seen him

Mobile tasks forces are housed at scp site facilities. And yes for this reason and annother more important one, they gotta sleep somewhere you can mobilize, arm, and feed them. Most sites have mess halls and barracks/ dormitories.
