      I love how he turned his nose up at Philly and is now looking like one of the biggest bombs in years. After being talked about as the next big name in hockey, then refusing to suit up in The Orange and Black, then going to CA and turning into what is looking like (so far) a dodged bullet by The Flyers... I can't help by smile. The guy hasn't been good at all.... and I love it after the disrespect shown to the club that was willing to give you your shot at the show. I hope karma eats him alive.

    It's crazy how so many people wanna dunk on Zegras and his production, but ignore the fact that almost everyone else on this Ducks team has also been pretty underwhelming these last couple of seasons...

    For those that think Frost didn't try that..... he probably did. He might not have had an exact plan on where he thought it would go after banking (though, as good as these guys are, he might've), but as soon as Dostal angles his paddle, Frost (known for being very creative) banked it in. Now, if he claims it was an accident, okay. But there was no one to pass to and he knew it. He looked at his options as he was getting down low.
    As myself, a center that plays from behind the net (I'm just a beer league player, at my age), I get SO many assists from there.... but I also get goals from doing stuff like that. If a goalie has his paddle out like that, I usually try to bank it in if I don't have a better pass. Or off the back of their leg or side of their head. Or off a D man's shin. I do it a lot. To the point that goalies now look for it when they see me go back there.... which is great because if they are worried about what I'm doing and trying to watch me behind them, a winger will often sneak into the slot or one of our D men will step into the high slot and I set it up.
    All that to say this... if an over-the-hill, washed out old hockey player like me can do it regularly, then a pro with silk hands can do it too. His celly points to it being on purpose too. It looks like he was trying it and he cellied like he was trying it.
    Just one hockey player's opinion.

      @@noname-nobody1247 I believe it. Like I said, if I can do to the point that I'm literally known for scoring like that, then a guy in the NHL certainly can.
      I don't believe there's a single sport other than hockey, in which the only way to go pro is to basically be groomed for it since birth. You have to have SO many skills all working at once. Anyone that can run really fast can play most other sports in some capacity at a very high level. Not the case with hockey.

    Don’t think I’ve seen a less deserved win this year, benching Michkov isn’t going to improve his confidence that’s clearly low at this point, less ice time = less chances = less points = less success frankly

    • @stephensabo8498
      @stephensabo8498 2 дня назад +2

      I think they had to send him down because of the holiday freeze with the cap... he is the only one they could have sent down who didnt need to clear waivers and risk being claimed. Torts did say Michkov's been a bit slow, probably from playing so much so he's trying to give him rest time here and there. i dont agree with that, but it's a legitimate reason to not play him so much.

    Two low end teams whose play looks like that too. Both goalies can be given bit credit, but otherwise very dull game. Not worth paying 400 USD for a ticket.

      Really; Surely that's a lower bowl near the play price? I live in the UK & ur post has shocked me cos for that kinda money i'd expect 3 possibly 4 Premier Lge football seats! I love the NHL but scheduled TV advert breaks & so many long delays making an hour long game last longer than a 90 minute football game is a real snooze fest! $400/seat Yikes!!

    This was a BORING game. I watched MTL vs FLO for a period..that was good hockey MTL was playing lights out and FLO was fighting back. This flyers team has no bite...no passion in the little things its seems...everyone wants to say they wanna win of course...but to me they dont do the simple things with fire. This anaheim team albeit they have trouba would be a great team to beat down and get some fire and aggression...
