@@tnwhisky2894 It kind of does matter, singing is about what is coming out out of one's vocal chords , not a machine. I do think it's great that he is up and doing a show. I have several of his vinyl albums and like his music.

Valli is almost a year older than Elvis Pressley, who died 45 years ago. He's basically a musical time machine.
His voice is still absolutely amazing! Listening to him, it's hard to believe he's 88! Go, Frankie!

Lipsyncing is amazing! The soundboard system has also helped him alter his voice to make it sound strong and high pitched! Every club and concert does that!
He barely moves his lips and opens his mouth half an inch to reach the high notes.

He has lip synched for years. It's very clear in his more recent shows as his lip movement doesn't match the pre-recorded vocals. He is still a legend but hasn't sang live in a long long time.

That is because it's pre-recorded vocals. Frankie has lip synched for decades and these vocals are from over 30 years ago. Pretty well known fact he never sings. You can easily tell his singing doesn't always match the pre-recorded vocals. A man who is nearly 90 isn't sounding this good.

The Four Seasons was the first rock concert I ever attended back in the '60's. I believe I paid $7 for a ticket in a gym in Northern Jersey. From that day on they were one of my favorite groups. An incredible sound. Amazingly, Frankie is still getting it done! What a great voice....classic.
They were my first concert as well at the Garden in the early 70's!

The back up singers are helping him! It's not his complete voice there!
He barely opens his mouth to sing. And his lips are not moving much in some notes!!! It's like he's talking to the microphone and not actually singing!! He looks bored and his eyes are sort of closed like he wants to fall asleep!
@@john_from_eastcoast. There are background singers singing with him, that’s kind of the whole point of their unique sound. His vocal was already finished when he closed his mouth, I don’t think it was meant to fool people otherwise.

He can't! Without any help! He's also helped by the computer soundboard. Giving him a smooth, artificial electronic voice! Ala Karaoke-style!
I like the guy and his music, don't get me wrong, I grew up with his music, but he needs to call it quits and retire. Even his stage presence lacks enthusiasm! He looks tired and bored, his eyes are sort of closed like he's going to fall asleep. He should smile more!

@@garysmith8455 hello Gary, well, back in 1998 I played a gig to raise money for the childline charity, Freddie and the dreamers were also one of the acts of the evening, well I can tell you that Freddie Garritty ( dead now ) was also a singer that could not hit the high notes anymore, clever lip syncing took over where required and there were many times that it happened, best wishes to you. 🎶🎵🎸🙂👍
@@Wooburnmusic Hi RIck, yes, as a pro musician myself, I know this is being done to keep 'our' aging vocalists on the performance stage, no question and sometimes, they get caught LIVE doing this. Bon Jovi most recently in question.
I guess you raised my red flag when you answered so directly with 'IS' as if you knew positively that Frankie was using 'tracks'. I realize that he doesn't move his mouth much and it makes it look like there is no effort, however we have NO PROOF that he is shadowing behind pre-recorded vocal tracks of his own (or one of his backing fellows). Last time I heard Tony Bennett sing was last January. I also recall he did his last concert in March, if I'm not mistaking. When I saw him in January, his wife said he remembers all the words to his songs. It was his memory of other things that was a bigger problem.

I was in Ashland Oregon this summer 2022 on a Friday night with my Bluetooth speaker blasting out music. Just to entertain people as I was walking down the Street. I was so surprised. At what happened. Most of the best music ever recorded in the music history. Got no attention. So I'm thinking what the hells wrong with these people. So I'm looking on my phone for a song An I came across Sherrie Franky Valleys best song. I blasted the song thinking only old people will react to this song. I couldn't believe how people reacted. The whole crowd went nuts singing an dancing to Sherrie. Even little babies in strollers were bouncing around. Just with smiles on their faces . It was so exciting that it blew me away .
