Thanks for the in-depth review of these amazing dart boards; you're a pretty good player too! As I'm from the UK, where darts is more popular, how popular is it in the US? Bit more of a niche sport, I'd imagine (similar to snooker over there). Always cool to see our US cousins embracing popular UK sports. Will keep an eye out for future reviews!
Funny, I walked through the uk, Manchester north to John o Groats, and almost none of the pubs had darts. Those that did, I was usually the only one playing. The guy from the USA. Very occasionally, someone would play me but they usually sucked ass. My impression of the UK as darts players was destroyed by my three months walk g through Scotland.
@@nathanstrong4359 this is true People who play in pubs tend to be terrible because they're leathered and aren't avid players The thing is darts is such a cheap sport to get into and have at home the good players only come out for tournaments / dart nights in the boozers
Hi James (Jen here) it is actually a handblown glass dart ring made by my wife. Her company is called Lucky Blown Glass. We carry a special line on a-zdarts but a little low on stock. You'll find more options right now on our personal website: www.luckyblownglass.com/dart-rings
Hey Bert! Yes anyone can buy those wall tiles. However, just a warning - we do not recommend them specifically for darts players - they are only meant to be decorative and help with sound proofing. Darts will not stick well into those tiles and more than likely will just pop right out and potentially hurt someone nearby. Long story short, they don't act like a foam dartboard surround. They are too thin for the dart to penetrate and stick well. Here is the website we used: feltright.com/
Will the Winmau carbon core take a soft tip dart as well as a steel tip? Looking for a quality board that will take both as my kids love to play but are to young to have steel tip darts..any help would be great , ty
Hello, some argue that throwing soft tip darts onto a steel tip dartboard puts it through unnecessary wear and tear. The sisal is designed to heal itself after steel points drive through them repeatedly (although steel points tend to be more narrow than a soft tip plastic point). You can technically throw soft tips onto any bristle board, it just requires a decent/harder throw to make sure they stick and don't easily bounce out with their blunt surface. We highly recommend never storing your darts (especially soft tip darts) in the play area of the steel tip dartboard when you're finished playing/practicing. This will help prolong the life of the sisal.
Correct, due to a shipping delay we are expecting to stock the Blade 6 boards around mid December. You can get notified via email when they are available by providing your email address in the 'Notify me' section: www.a-zdarts.com/search.html?Search=blade+6
i got the standard board,, and its way to soft and dry hits the board under the sisal..and the darts are not stuck like on the blade 5.. i give it 3/10
Is the bull softer than on the B5? For those of us who dont play cricket and prefer a softer bull. Also hate the triple core number ring and orange paint. Stick to traditional colors please Winmau! I'll be passing on the B6 boards .
Ah I just realized that is due to me turning my head to the left and continuing to speak whereas the lapel mic is clipped to the right of my collar. Noted for next time - I think the audio was only noticeably quieter during the shooting portion.
@@azdarts No, it is not. There is no R In the word. You assumed I pronounced it as Winmow as in cow. It’s pronounced as Winmaw, as in Claw. The video below you linked proved it. He says…it a combo of the names Winifred and Maude. Where is the R in the name Maude?
@@azdarts As I said, this video explains. The name is combined from Winifred and Maude. Pronounced Mawd as you’d say Claw. There is no R in the name. You, and other Americans hear it wrong.

Great review. As for pronunciation: I absolutely DESPISE that the “official” name has an R in it. It’s completely stupid. It’s a portmanteau of names that have no R in in them. Why the eff should it be pronounced with an R? Me started Dart a month ago seeing the triple core "Oh thats nice" (hanging now at home) xD
what about the dual core blade 6 vs the bandit duro? i have 21g black point darts at the moment (i am a beginner)
Hello Smolle! Here is our review of the Shot Bandit boards. This should help you decide between the two... ruclips.net/video/eMlpZZotfm4/видео.html
Welcome. Can you recommend some arrows for Triple Core that won't affect the board? I thank you.
Great video! Thanks! Looking forward to to see yiur review on the Polaris Light.
Great shooting too!
We hope to review the Polaris light once we get stock of it! Definitely on the list to cover.
Nice, with that other numbering the triple core seems a bigger board. And that you didn't trip over your mike wire (y)
Was looking at getting the triple core blade 6, nice review! And damm your good at darts n all, fair play :)
How does it take for a dart hole to go away? Is there different grades of sisal?
Thank you
Can you please link me to the necklace you wear to hold your darts. Its really cool but I cant find one online anywhere.
I mean…. It’s literally just a steel ring on a chain. Head to your local hardware store… ?

Is the rim metal to accept a magnetic lighting system?
Yes that is correct. For example, you can use a Target Corona Light with any Winmau Blade 6 dartboard.
Didnt know it was called WINMORE
It is
It’s stupid. There is no R in the portmanteau.

What happened to the audio? I'm only hearing the background music but not Jen's voice. I'm sure she's saying something because there's subtitles.
After all review, I can say that blade 6 is the best because there is a bigger T20, T19 or T16 about 3mm
Thanks for the review!Just one question. Is the sound of the dual core and the triple core the same?
Would really appreciate it if anyone knows the answer 🙏
I ended up going for the Triple, dont regret it so far
Music makes it harder to hear
Decent review thanks. Mildly annoying that your audio only comes through the left channel.
Nice. We do sell your product here in Saipan
Omg! U r a good dart player
I’ve been calling it win mow for like 9 years never knew it was pronounced win more
Gorgeous and good at darts...winner
That's what she said
She is good, but what is the purpose of the background music/noise?
you can t even see the number ring on camera on the tripple core might be poor for webcam darts.
Winmore? Never heard of them 😂
Im still trying to figure out what winmor is. U only know winmau
WINMAU WINMAU WINMAU does it sound like she's saying WINMORE U R sooo good
Yes she is. Know your product names. Maybe another reason their prices are so high. Lack of knowledge

The music is a bit too loud and we only here your voice in the left. Without that good video
My darts keep bouncing out of the center bull.
This music is too loud and distracting. Otherwise, thanks for a good video
Testing stuff supposed to keep all other variables the same, use same darts each time
Much better darts player than the one who review the new Joe Cullen darts.

Great vid but you really need to lose the background music its too loud & extremely annoying

How you pronounce Sisal is terrifying xD
yeah, my ears are hurting lmao
Bullshit about laser cut numbers! They are cheap metal...make a lot of marks onit
Put the video back up without the music. Terribly distracting and drowns out the voice.
maybe next time also sound on my right ear
