Since I start to play this game from the original version , I always imaged the Spencer's mansion is the one of most beautiful, classic, delightful mansion. It's placing in the midst of a peaceful and shady forest. That's my dream home and I believe for many people. If there is no mystery dangerous traps and the tragedy caused by what hiding beneath it.
Remember the original RE1 Mansion was never really intended to be a functional home but rather a death trap and a fake facade front to cover Spencer's biological weapon operations.
It's truly an epic video. Many kudos to the gifted designer for this. George Trevor would have been very proud. Damn Ozwell E. Spencer for destroying Trevor's family :(
This is SO COOL-best thing about RE1 is the prerendered backgrounds with all of the meticulous little details the devs peppered into them-you guys have done such a good job bringing it to 3D life!
The Spencer mansion will always be my favorite place in RE, just looking at the mansion already gives you chills, for me it deserves a modern remake such as RE2 and RE4, I know there is a remake that is from 2002, but as I said, it is It already deserves a modern remake since it was the one that started it all, it is a great survival horror and for me it is the most representative of all RE, the scarce ammunition, the thin and claustrophobic corridors, the doubt of whether it was worth killing the zombies or not (by the crimson heads), and the isolation, for me it deserves a modern remake
The rendering is insanely beautiful & atmospheric, but i wanna shoutout the wonderful audio work too, like 4:45 crows being panned/muted depending on where you are. Creepy! A winner is you 💚
There's something both oddly and extremely relaxing about this. Just watching the camera slowly pan around the somber (and demented) beauty of the Spencer estate is somehow really soothing.
The mansion represent the "disguise" beauty on the outer exterior but hides the true evil lies beneath. As such upon discovering and uncover the mystery of Lisa Trevor and her mother. Umbrella was truly evil.
with the new ue vr program thats just been released, hopefully we can get this on our meta quests pretty soon as a walkaround vr expierence, hopefully with a few jump scares thrown in. I dont need the full game in VR, i would just love to explore the Spencer mansion in vr in all its glorious detail. this looks amazing. Forget fighting zombies, make this a co op game, strictly exploring and possibly solving puzzles to escape, the experience would be incredible.

If I had more money than I knew what to do with, I’d have a real, full-size replica of the Spencer Mansion built, and I’d move in, and I’d live there. I don’t care how eccentric it’d be, it would be fantastic!
The room with the shotgun would be the best place to rest and grab some sleep. All you’d have to do is take the shotgun off the rack, trigger the trap ceiling, and then go back inside as it goes down all the way. Then there’ll be massive layers of concrete blocking the only exit, protecting you from all the monsters outside
Watched this last night, loved it! Great job! Really puts you in their shoes. Definitely makes the mansion feel a lot smaller than it seemed in the game. Unfortunately it makes me realize why they can't make a movie or TV series exactly like the game. Everyone on-site could hear any gunshot or scream for that matter.
Next to getting an RE9 game, I’ll take a full on current gen remake of RE1. The original remake was done back in 2002 and the HD remaster was done in 2015. It would bring it all home to have RE1 remade with today’s tech after getting 2 and 3 done.
In spite of starting playing the series with RE2 and totally falling in love with RPD, i have to agree with you on this... Playing RE1 after playing RE2 was a little downer, but the HD remaster OMG 😱 that's another level

The original still holds up well to this. Shows how impressive the remake was on the Gamecube. I think for a remake of the remake to stand out it will require alot of artistic liberties.

A Resident Evil One and Zero remake needs to happen first in order to complete the remake/reboot series, and 'before' a remake of RE5, RE6 and even Resident Evil: Code Veronica X is done.
Two things: 1. If Capcom ever decides to do a second remake of Resident Evil 1, they should TOTALLY hire you guys to help design the Spencer Mansion. 2. Capcom needs to do a standalone game mode similar to the Discovery Tour mode of Assassin's Creed Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla, but instead make it where you can explore iconic Resident Evil locations, like the Spencer Mansion, Raccoon City, the castle and village of Los Illuminados, the Baker Estate, Castle Dimitrescu, etc.
I remember younger I wished to be a game developer and concept person. Always thought of a cool style game with RE elements. 4 different characters to play as with each set have a different endings and solutions with puzzles and bosses. And randomly there would be 10 zombie waves 3 story events 6 random events and 1 a hidden special event but so much more. Maybe next life time I’ll be a game developer.

Can we get one of the rest of the entire property including the rest of the mansion , residence & the water lab & the woods leading to the cabin & the caverns/mine & the under ground lab ??? I could honestly watch a 3 hour video of the entire property & map of this game (remake ganecube version obviously it has the greatest map of any game ever made) showing every single room & crevice & secret passage there is please???

i wonder if its possible to take fixed camera angle photo's from this and mimic the positions from the hd remaster then replace the background textures with these ones ? might not be doable for the rooms with moving things in them though unless you take the moving parts out then take the picture maybe. would be awesome to use these textures in the remaster.
