I had no idea that this was a technique I could incorporate in my stitching! Thank you for sharing!! This was truly inspirational for me. I can't wait to see your finished project. It's going to be lovely! ❤ Have fun at the lake with your grandsons! I just got back from a 15 day trip out West (USA) with my grandparents and 2 female cousins. It was my grandparents and their granddaughters. I'm 35 and the oldest one. 😂 Vacationing with my grandparents is the biggest blessing of my life. I know it won't be for much longer so I'm cherishing every minute I can with them.
Hi Michelle, soft gel medium dries flexible. I try to keep it only under and over the paper image I am gluing down because stitching through paper and glue is hard on my fingers. Blending the images onto the fabric with thread will be my next video. This will be a fun project 💕🪡🧵🎉🇨🇦

Hi Helene, I buy my Golden Soft Gel Medium at my local art store, DeSerres Art, in Edmonton.
What is the fluff? Fibers from the fabric or something from the gel medium?
The fluff is probably dog fur floating in the air due to my two crazed hounds
Looks great..could you use modpodge?
Modpodge will not give you the same texture… it is a cheaper watery glue mixture which dries hard and will crack if you attempt to sew through it. Soft Gel Medium is more expensive and is formulated to be a whipped consistency which dries soft and pliable which can be stitched through… you are stitching through dried plastic, but it is soft plastic and will not crack when stitched through.💕
