Corrine, this page really shows the explosion of life in spring! The hyacinth is coming out marvellous with all those textural bits and embroidery. Love it! Thank you very much ❤
Hi Corrine! I’m a complete beginner to embroidery and am stitching along with Roxy’s Field Notes. You are SO creative and talented! I love watching you build your page - it’s beautiful! Thank you for sharing your creative process - it’s very helpful to a beginner such as myself as well as inspirational.😊❤
Hi Corrine, your hyacinth has evolved beautifully… from sketch, to flower dying, to petal layering, to thread painting💕. The botanical dissection labelling and paint swatches are perfect for Field Notes. Well done💕🪡🧵🎉🇨🇦
What a great idea. You have the patience of a saint with all those tiny pieces. I’ve been naughty again and bought a few of the books I’ve seen. Secrets of a Devon Wood My Nature Journal by Jo Brown is amazing. Have most of the Edith ones and Janet Marsh. Gunna be a great experience ❤
@christineking1986 I don’t think you can.. gosh that would be handy I wish they would allow pictures.. are you on Facebook.. we have a group (Stitched Vintage Treasures) plus the Roxy girls do too. Then others can see the fabrics too.
Hi Corrine, that was such a fabulous video, I’m on holiday in France watching this, its been so relaxing listening to you. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent with us. Love Bella xx
Ohhh the colours from those flowers are beautiful!! Did I send you some purple silk material in that Japanese fabric I sent?? I hope I did it's absolutely gorgeous. Love what you're doing with this flower. Hyacinth........it always reminds me of "the Bucket (bouquet) residence Lady of the house speaking" in her English voice. Hahaha. Loved that voice and she Hyacinth was hilarious with her cups of tea and her son ringing wanting money. Hahaha. ❤❤😂😂
LOVE this video💕 So many fantastic elements! Amazing to see you rolling the flowers and getting the beautiful colors on your fabric. Yum❤ The hyacinth is GORGEOUS - the bulb looks so real! You're doing an amazing job. I could watch for hours and soak up all the tidbits of information. As a beginner with embroidery and slow stitching I'm learning so much with your videos.... thank you! I love all of your current projects🥰
Thanks once again for your inspiration and encouragement to try new things. Your Hyacinth is beautiful. P. S . The Hydrangeas in Connecticut are magnificent this year, maybe they are all around the world. 🪡🧵♥️
Think I'll go squish and mush as well :) I think you're silly as a two bob watch Rinny :) so so creative, such an inspiration. I love following your videos, you're a lot like me, I'm all over the place like a mad womans ......... hehe I have brain spurts during the night as well, there are no rules with me, I can't help it, it's just me -- try this, try that .... keep mushing, see you soon :) Deb
Great use of natural dyes. The crushed flower fabric looks like it could be made into a bunch of flowers looking down upon the blooms lovely. Would a rolling pin be suitable for pressing flowers would be applying more pressure using both hands. Mmm.

The field note element is making this project really fun and interesting!
Corrine if you put the petals between two pieces of calico your roller won’t get as messy and you will have double the quantity of prints x
Yes .. but not as fun! Lol

Corrine you were talking about needles. Is there anywhere on RUclips that explains what needle is used for what. ❤

Check out Jennifer Clouston’s channel.. in some of her earlier videos she talks about needles and she keeps it simple.. just a couple.
