Can you do a no action skill, class mod, nades, melee/FP build next? I just want to see what you think has the best synergies given the restrictions. Also this music shreds almost as hard as the build. Edit: no ground breaker either
While not as insanely strong as before revelation is still incredibly strong with the original gamebreaker amara build. I still use it even though im not hitting hundreds of billions of damage i still hit 2-3 billion damage which destroys everything.
Not at all, I do not understand how people have this mindset? Ok, then why don't they just give you a skill that let's you insets kill everything, and a lot room where you can get anything you want? Did that sound fun?

WOW, I do not think BL3 would have been as much fun for me without all your videos explaining the interactions and mechanics. With each hotfix and nerf over the life cycle of the game, it would have been impossible to figure out what changed and would have made the game frustrating. Because of the community and your dedication to put all the discovered knowledge into these videos over the months, you single handedly kept the game interesting and worth while to keep playing. By explain each update and demonstrating the best new NEW build, it provided a new goal and gear to farm for. Without your help to understand what rolls on item made it better than another item, that satisfaction of achieving "perfection" would be lost. And isn't that what Borderlands has always been about?
This is exactly what I do. I gave up trying to figure this all out for myself and just check out Moxsy's latest build guide every couple of months. Been using his Amara melee builds for a while now and they are absolutely the best.
I remember wanting to switch characters and hating myself for picking Moze instead of Amara when BL3 released. Now i absolutely adore Moze and she's in SUCH a good place now, whereas Amara is just... there

I cycle between my uRad, Monarch&Lightshow St4ckbot, and peregrine Rakk Attack builds and have literal zero issues steamrolling the hardest content in the game on M10. Now, if you wanna talk about his godawful purple tree and bugged to shit pets and skills... that's a different story lol
The screen shot of your skill trees are not the same as when you go thru the build. Example. You have 3 pts in personal space, but when you give us the skill tree spec it has zero 0 pts towards it....your build is conflicting me. Please help or clarify. Thnx :)
Just recently got done with an Amara phazerker build, it was fun but it lacked boss damage like what this build has. I don't like that this character is forced into to certain play styles for bossing damage.
Yea I don't like that either, day 1 Amara player and pretty much always used a Zerker build with TTB as I can't seem to enjoy the other Amara builds. Driver's self damage ticking/screen mess drives me crazy so thats a nope for me, also not a fan of using facepuncher when there are other weapons I like to use more. Cause of this I play Moze more and more recently and I'm having a blast with a 150% URad/Bloodletter build where I can use nearly anything I like. I still play Amara sometimes cause I like to do mobbing with her/easier content but for everything else its Moze now. Don't get me wrong I'm not really interested in 1 hit killing everything but my old Zerker/TTB build is just way behind nowadays. Also planning to level up a Zane at some point with some cryo based build for more variety.
This is surprising close to my old driver build before the nerfs, so respecing to this wasn't a huge change for me, and it feels relatively the same as before, just needed to tweak my playstyle a bit. This is true, but I think we can all agree that the skills could be more diverse. Zane can do a lot of things in basically every tree and same with Zane, but FLAK and Amara have like two builds that can do stuff. I would love to see a skill overhaul where about 90% of all skills get reworked. At the most lazy, honestly just give Amara and Flak more skill points
Borderlands 3 is so amazing in so many ways, but when it comes to the vault hunters and there builds, it feels about as diverse as borderlands one. Just pick Lilith and go down Phoenix. Just pick Zane and go down blue/ commitment. Lol

Farm Agonizer5000 on M1. Mayhem doesn't scale stones, it's a faster farm and I believe a lot of the loot pool is removed on lower Mayhem levels which makes the white elephant drop more frequently.
Quick question I have a lvl 1 brawler ward 300 melee damage shield with the “on trigger” anointment. If I trigger my action skill while my shield is already depleted does the affect stack? Meaning will it give me 600% melee damage or 300%

Oh I didn’t know Amara was nerfed I am still using a ties build and it still works well, but it’s true that bosses have become virtually impossible. Such a shame that gearbox nerfs the fun stuff Do you have a non-DLC version of this build? How strong is it?
Thank you for the info. I replicated the skill tree but used fire stone commander planetoid artifact for the 82% elemental dmg application on hit with melee, paired with the face puncher of course, it's beautiful. Just wanted to share.

I took a long break from BL3. I was making the Ricochet Witch build when Ties that Bind was nerfed to no longer pass elemental damage through the link so I swapped to making the Khaos Queen 4.0 build. Is that build still viable or is there now a new version of a build that is basically Ties + Indiscriminate so you can grasp the big guy in the middle and shoot him to murder everyone?
You might want to look at Infusion again. If it really does improve your damage, that would mean this build, ignoring that the title may be intentionally hyperbolic, isn't the "HIGHEST DAMAGE AMARA BUILD". I came to edit my comment to say that I tested Infusion and found that it not only is important for healing with Sustainment (if not using the purple tree skill), but it also makes me do noticeably more damage (which is actually why I had changed to spending 5 points on the skill in the first place, now that my memory is refreshed). Unfortunately, I can't edit my comment, because it doesn't exist. Why is it missing? There's no appropriate reason for it to be deleted.

It's definitely not here, and it definitely was visibly posted on my end for at least some time, which is exceptionally frustrating when the original goal was to help other players missing various DLC add ons by informing them of options they still have which function similarly to this build. Modern games have a lot of problems with "pay to win" content, and nobody likes feeling like they're too poor to play the character or class they enjoy in any game. If you're certain it was an error with my overcharging, under-delivering ISP (or maybe even RUclips itself), I'd appreciate knowing how you obtained that information.

Moxsy btw if u use a terror cryo face puncher , if u are terrified and dotted by the driver at the same time u can get that 25 stacks of mindfulness without having to proc your ase’s. And no u do not actually take a cryo dot but it still counts for some reason and u can get the 25 stacks by fake grasping and being terrified sooo yh :)
Late, but...it doesn't. Infusion needs to be invested into as much as possible to get higher Face-puncher damage. I've tested this with my own build months prior to this video's release, and again just a week ago or so. It's a very noticeable dip in damage to not put points into Infusion when using any non elemental weapon, FP and Blade Fury included.

I cant seem to figure out the billion damage 1 shot. I charge up twice shoot and slide but nothing spectacular happens :( other than that I love the build.
new player here, so is this build completely useless now after the nerf or is it still somewhat viable? I don't really need to kill bosses with 2 hits, I just want a good Amara melee build

Looked interresting until I saw this required purple tree don't have season pass 2 (holding off until sale personally don't feel like what's there now is worth full price), any viable Amara builds that don't require purple?
I'm so confused, 1. What action skill is used? I saw clips with the projectile one and the grab one 2. What gear is even used? 3. What is that weird things where fours arms show up at once, because it never shows up for me 4. What is causing the sudden nuke of damage? I have watched this video over 4 times and it makes absolutely no sense. Was this nerfed? Am I doing something wrong? I don't get it.
Yeah, I'm the same way. I just didn't find Amara fun to play. It took me a while to even start an Amara, and even then I only did so cuz the SD mod came out just in time for the release of the Maliwan Takedown (before they changed it to be one-person playable). Even with the release of the 4th tree, I find phaseflare to be a bit tedious to control. Don't get me wrong; her power is undeniable, but you still got to put in some work with her. It's especially annoying when she targets an enemy instead of the Orb with a melee strike, blitzing them instead of powering it up.
Hello I just finished my moze completely and I wanna know if Amara is strong I really don't wanna play Zane he is so boring to play in the beginning and probably the end so who should I play Amara or flak?
FL4K over Zane but in actuality both are the same in terms of damage imo. Zane maybe a little more on raw gun damage. Just finished leveling all Vault hunters to 65 so played a ton with Zane. Copied K6’s Nuclear Winter Zane 2.0 setup and it was really fun. And Moze well she’s so strong you can let Iron Bear carry you. Cleared Guardian Takedown solo with her. Although I did use Jolt’s Steel Savior Moze setup. I’m on console though so I can’t get the gear exactly. I recommend all Vault hunters.
if your talking about a brawler ward, you need to be in the game when it is dropped, but not pick it up. you then need to switch to a level one account and retrieve it from lost loot
I always play siren. 1) why does amara have the ability to manipulate her siren ability to different forms and the others don't really. 2) her phasegrasp feels like Mayas phaselock
@@marinezombie9271 Once you get a build like this it lets you farm and grind the raids solo imo. If you don’t know Guardian Takedown is the hardest content in game and if you do it on True Takedown maybe even near impossible if your build isn’t strong enough. Personally I like getting op builds so that I can be capable of soloing all content. Matchmaking in this game sucks as there are no dedicated servers for it and trying to reach out to other people is just a hassle as we all have different schedules and work hours. Hope that answers your question. Ignore the other guy.
Appreciate all the work, hate in some builds how gear has to be so specific. A regular phasegrasp ties that bind build still does well, but just not against bosses. I guess that's the huge difference more than anything. I prefer some gun diversity too. I really don't like any Hyperion guns and that's a big reason I don't use face puncher setups for her.
I feel you. I usually make it a day or so before I respec *away* from facepuncher Amara - I think Kaos Queen is still my favorite; plus you can still do "OK" damage with phaseflare against bosses
@@webuiltthissmitty Yeah sounds about right to me. I like to stick with the meta guns like the light show, plasma coil, and my beloved Kaos when I use Amara.. It works great for me, she just doesn't melt bosses like the others.
I loved using the ties that bind skill combined with the glamour augment after one their patches glamour is now completely useless with all action skills before it turned enemies against each other and they would attack each other great for large crowds now all affected enemies become allies and immune to all damage until the end of the duration and they dont even attack each other and when using the ties that bind skill the enemy inside phasegrasp will be immune its so annoying to use and completely useless now
Lol switch to Zane then or FL4K they let you use a slew of weapons while still being game breaking. They nerfed Amara a ton so yeah I’d get why this build only uses one weapon to break the game.
Havnt finished yet but in glad your gonna go through the patches that affected amara since I havbt played since dlc3 lets hope this gets me back into the game
@@genxmonk70 they're not as heavily nerfed as it's made out to be. You could always replace white elephant's with static charge, and get brawler ward. Those 2 make up for the nerfs. Try and get the 250% damage after phase cast anoint as well.
@@5Starallstar2010 thanks. Side note, my Gamma Burst Fl4k is still fun, but I started a new Fl4k that is using Rakks. It's only level 25 and been focusing red tree, but it's a lot of fun too. Fwiw I have all the green and red guardian trees unlocked to 100 and am at 40ish on blue, so that helps.

@@GundamGamingx the hundreds of billions of DMG always came from the Remnant ball, and it still works like that if you hit over 1 billion with Ties.

Been playing with a Muse, Facepuncher, Frozen Heart ASE with Eternal Fist for the lols. Whip out an orb for bosses. Everythings too damn easy.

Enjoying this build and fettuccine flak build as well. I found a loaded dice projector today and it got me to thinking. Would it be possible to make a decent urad amara?
Moxsy btw if u use a terror cryo face puncher , if u are terrified and dotted by the driver at the same time u can get that 25 stacks of mindfulness without having to proc your ase’s. And no u do not actually take a cryo dot but it still counts for some reason and u can get the 25 stacks by fake grasping and being terrified sooo yh :)

Why does infusion hurt the face puncher damage?
Late, but...it doesn't. Infusion needs to be invested into as much as possible to get higher Face-puncher damage. I've tested this with my own build months prior to this video's release, and again just a week ago or so. It's a very noticeable dip in damage to not put points into Infusion when using any non elemental weapon, FP and Blade Fury included.

I cant seem to figure out the billion damage 1 shot. I charge up twice shoot and slide but nothing spectacular happens :( other than that I love the build.

i played with zane the directors cut DLC complete but i doesen´t get the fourth skill tree, it is now a bug or not? can anyone give me a advice?
Purple Tree is from the Designer's Cut (DLC 5).

3. What is that weird things where fours arms show up at once, because it never shows up for me

I have watched this video over 4 times and it makes absolutely no sense. Was this nerfed? Am I doing something wrong? I don't get it.
Yeah this dude is really not good at concisely explaining builds at all. Just slops gameplay over it like that's supposed to be a good guide video.

Yeah, I'm the same way. I just didn't find Amara fun to play. It took me a while to even start an Amara, and even then I only did so cuz the SD mod came out just in time for the release of the Maliwan Takedown (before they changed it to be one-person playable).
Even with the release of the 4th tree, I find phaseflare to be a bit tedious to control. Don't get me wrong; her power is undeniable, but you still got to put in some work with her. It's especially annoying when she targets an enemy instead of the Orb with a melee strike, blitzing them instead of powering it up.
Hello I just finished my moze completely and I wanna know if Amara is strong I really don't wanna play Zane he is so boring to play in the beginning and probably the end so who should I play Amara or flak?
FL4K over Zane but in actuality both are the same in terms of damage imo. Zane maybe a little more on raw gun damage. Just finished leveling all Vault hunters to 65 so played a ton with Zane. Copied K6’s Nuclear Winter Zane 2.0 setup and it was really fun. And Moze well she’s so strong you can let Iron Bear carry you. Cleared Guardian Takedown solo with her. Although I did use Jolt’s Steel Savior Moze setup. I’m on console though so I can’t get the gear exactly. I recommend all Vault hunters.

if your talking about a brawler ward, you need to be in the game when it is dropped, but not pick it up. you then need to switch to a level one account and retrieve it from lost loot
I always play siren. 1) why does amara have the ability to manipulate her siren ability to different forms and the others don't really. 2) her phasegrasp feels like Mayas phaselock
Still fun though. But it bugs the side of me that likes lore.
I'm new to borderlands, is there any point to the game after you get a build like this? Special events or just farming other op items?

@@marinezombie9271 Once you get a build like this it lets you farm and grind the raids solo imo. If you don’t know Guardian Takedown is the hardest content in game and if you do it on True Takedown maybe even near impossible if your build isn’t strong enough. Personally I like getting op builds so that I can be capable of soloing all content. Matchmaking in this game sucks as there are no dedicated servers for it and trying to reach out to other people is just a hassle as we all have different schedules and work hours. Hope that answers your question. Ignore the other guy.

Appreciate all the work, hate in some builds how gear has to be so specific. A regular phasegrasp ties that bind build still does well, but just not against bosses. I guess that's the huge difference more than anything. I prefer some gun diversity too. I really don't like any Hyperion guns and that's a big reason I don't use face puncher setups for her.
I feel you. I usually make it a day or so before I respec *away* from facepuncher Amara - I think Kaos Queen is still my favorite; plus you can still do "OK" damage with phaseflare against bosses
@@webuiltthissmitty Yeah sounds about right to me. I like to stick with the meta guns like the light show, plasma coil, and my beloved Kaos when I use Amara.. It works great for me, she just doesn't melt bosses like the others.

I loved using the ties that bind skill combined with the glamour augment after one their patches glamour is now completely useless with all action skills before it turned enemies against each other and they would attack each other great for large crowds now all affected enemies become allies and immune to all damage until the end of the duration and they dont even attack each other and when using the ties that bind skill the enemy inside phasegrasp will be immune its so annoying to use and completely useless now

Lol switch to Zane then or FL4K they let you use a slew of weapons while still being game breaking. They nerfed Amara a ton so yeah I’d get why this build only uses one weapon to break the game.

@@genxmonk70 they're not as heavily nerfed as it's made out to be. You could always replace white elephant's with static charge, and get brawler ward. Those 2 make up for the nerfs. Try and get the 250% damage after phase cast anoint as well.
@@5Starallstar2010 thanks. Side note, my Gamma Burst Fl4k is still fun, but I started a new Fl4k that is using Rakks. It's only level 25 and been focusing red tree, but it's a lot of fun too. Fwiw I have all the green and red guardian trees unlocked to 100 and am at 40ish on blue, so that helps.
