Can you be a safety and throw the ball? No. Can you be a offensive lineman and intercept a pass? No. I’m not saying you shouldn’t be able to play all positions, but given the lack of communication between EA, the devs, and the NFL, I give them credit for at least adding 1 defensive position.

Players don’t react to certain situations. You see several plays where players just stand still like the original comment said. And not only defense, you see oline doing it too. The game can be manipulated in multiple ways that’s unrealistic. Zone manipulation, oline manipulation. You can literally just run around defenders. Abilities are unrealistic and don’t make for a simulated football game. They’ve neglected franchise up until this season. Mut is the only thing EA has cared about over the years because it brings in a ton of money on micro transactions.
And honestly all these garbage would be fine if they didn’t make promises of what you’re getting new with each game. Where is this AI that is supposed to essentially learn based off tendencies or a smarter oline AI that actual reacts properly to plays. If they just came out and said it’s a roster update and MUT rework, people would be disappointed but it wouldn’t be a lie.
