The spring bars will go in much easier if you grease them as the instructions describe. They'll also last longer if you keep them greased. When you remove them, don't drop them on the ground to collect dirt. Cover them with plastic bags to prevent the grease from getting everywhere.
@@boonecountygenerators3052 My instructions say not to grease them because they use friction to function. Keeping them off the ground is probably wise though.
@@richardcope6523 I'm talking about the front of the spring bars where they insert into the ball mount. There are grease zerks right there, plain to see in your video. You do not grease the rear part of the spring bars where they ride on the brackets.
I stopped watching this video as the torsion bars are being put on. This video should show how you mount the head with the ball and measure properly so the ball is aligned straight and also how those torsion bars are supposed to be three or four inches below the mounting brackets. This will confuse a lot of people. You should redo this video or make the corrections

The spring bars are supposed to be turned more foward towards the bu.per. grease the bars and also grease the brackets on the trailer

if you turn the bars towards the truck the will go in easy with out have to slam them in, then rotate them back towards the trailer
