    I’m late to the party but this so classy. Somewhere in my “stash of stuff” I have some “ready to be adorned” hair clasp. This design would work wonderfully as a hair adornment. Matching earrings would just be perfect.

    Oooohh .. I love this!! I've got stacks of 8/0's in every imaginable colour that I bought when I first started beading, not knowing what a beader would actually use them for, and I didn't use them for anything! ... But lately I've been using them in lots of projects, as well as lots of other seed beads in every color, size, and shape .. I've come along in creative beading leaps and bounds in the past few months from watching you work and then just playing with the designs and tweaking them to suit my extensive stash, trying out different combinations to see what works and what doesn't. I can't thank you enough - you're a fabulous teacher!!

      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  6 лет назад +1

      Thank you so much Elizabeth 🌻🙏😊 I’m so glad the videos are helpful to you! I think the 8/0 should be used more often. It’s very versatile and works up quickly! I just ordered a ton of Picasso finish 8/0’s. They’re beautiful 🌞 Enjoy your beading and creating!

      Bronzepony Beaded Jewelry
      Wow, Stephanie .. thanks sooooo much for your encouragement!! Alk week I've made some really beautiful combinations in this design already! I think my favorites are the 8/0's, but one is in 2mm faceted Natural Amethyst & 2mm faceted Natural Pyrite beads ... OMG .. Sooooooo pretty!! I also tried it in 11/0 Delicas for a much more delicate bracelet .. I'll put a stack of these away for Xmas gifts .. I also make my own boxes and gift cards for the complete handcrafted look .. so cute!
      Thanks again for teaching me SO MUCH : )

    about how many beads would you use with 2/0 seed beads for a 6.5 wrist? Is there a difference between 2/0 seed beads and Druk beads? Never heard of Druk beads.

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  4 года назад

      +rosess12 I’m not sure with 2/0. Find out the mm size of a 2/0 and if its close to a 2mm Druk you can substitute.

    Am I wrong when I says this can be made of SO many different beads & sizes? Anything from seed beads, (even bigger ones like 6/0s) to pearls, firepolish.. any round bead 😀
    How can you NOT bend the needle? I've been beading a few years, but in some projects, it's kind off impossible not to bend the needle? Esp a size 12 or 13 needle.
    And the projects that kills most neddles for me is, embellising tubular peyote, when you have the delicas thightened around a pearl or rivoli & you need to go in & out off the delicas in such angles.. I think all of my broken needles is from this kind off work..
    I would be really grateful, if you (or anyone else) had any tips for how to avoid bending & busting the needle in cirkular peyote emb?! 😁😀

    Hi Stephanie. I took my time getting the exact materials that you have and ordered from Beadaholique and I've tried three times to do the ends before the toggle and the beads keep breaking. I am so upset over the cost and then I have a beautiful bracelet and I can't finish because they break. Now if I try again and it breaks, it would have all be in vain. I'm just wondering what I'm doing wrong. :(

      +Megan Flowers I’m sorry to hear you are having trouble with your bracelet ends Megan. Message me a picture to Bronzepony Facebook page and I’ll take a look. The closure isn’t a toggle in the video - it’s a Filagree box clasp if I remember correctly. I’m sure we can figure out how to get it to work for you. 🌻😃

      +Terry Nicholson On the video, I think I tell you to adjust the length before you sew it up. At the stage when your pieces are done and you’ve tied it in to a knot. Adding beads when it’s sewn up is possible . You could add a longer clasp or bead something at the ends to extend it.

    Hi, can you make these beautiful bracelets but using lobster claw clasp or toggle clasp, I have those. If you don't want to make the whole bracelet which I understand, can you make a Barbie bracelet ..... I would appreciate it soooo much, there might be others who only have toggle or lobster clasp "PLEASE" much THANKS!!

    I loveeeee Game of Thrones!! I own all 7 seasons!!!
    My 8/0's look NOTHING like mine. Where do you purchase your 8/0's please??? I'm constantly digging garbage out and yet still none of them are truly Toho's :(

      I use Miyuki seeds mostly. Most bead websites will have them. Try Aura Crystals, Eureka Crystals, Artbeads.

      Thank you. I've never seen Miyuki rounds that pretty. I always purchase Toho so I'll try them. :). Again, thanks.

    I am using 2mm druk beads to make the bracelet, but I have found that in using 2mm hematite and 2mm turquoise, the are slightly different sizes. Therefore my double string is arcing. Any advice on this? Thank you. Peg

      +Peggy Rorabaugh Can you message me a picture on Facebook of your piece? I’d be able to better help you if I can see your piece.
