  • Lets have a look at 3 of the PARD TA Series Thermal Handhelds side by side and compare the images, vs Field of View and Magnification
We look at the TA62-25, TA32-25 and the TA32-35
We also look at real ranges - some horses at 60 something metres and cattle at over 400m.
This should help you in selecting the best model for your needs
We will update the video with the entire range later

    Hola señor, que diferencia tiene el ta32 25mm del ta62 25mm ?

I am working on a new side by side video which will include the 62-35 - but basically the 62 will have a wider Field of View, but around half the magnification - when you use the digital zoom you will have a similar image that the 32 version has - 640 cores do produce nicer images (they have more pixels) BUT only at the same level of magnification, and in the same lens size they are around half a 320/384 core (any brand)

Gracias por la respuesta! En pocas palabras el ta62 al hacer zoom tiene mejor resolución que ta32 ?

No its basically the same resolution, the 640 pixels become 320 pixels on 2x zoom - in effect if you need 4x optical magnification you should just buy a ta32-35 as if you buy a ta62 and then immediately zoom you have wasted your money - it does have the advantage of a wider field of view and the ability to zoom 1 step to basically that level (I do use one like that) - No thermal digital zoom is any good, they are all starting out at a low mag and very low resolution - 640 was called VGA in TV terms some 20?
