Thanks, very helpful. Power Query is another one, although it could be argued it isn't an add in. I haven't figured out the intricacies of it, but it is an easy way to convert a range of dates in text format into date format. Fill under transform makes it easy to take a general ledger listing where the account name is only listed on the first line and have it on every line. It can even bring in a listing of a folder's contents.
The new Visio addin looks good as well.
Good info. I looked at the Visio addin and it has additional purchases but it still has several basic options in the free version.
I recently used Power Query to append, merge, and transform multiple data sources to migrate it as a single data table from one system to another. Over 500k rows of data in total. Power Query is possibly the single greatest tool in Excel!

I have added all these add-ins, however, the Range calculations and Remove unwanted characters are not working. Could you please let me know if there is any way to rectify it?
I've tried it on both my personal and company laptops.

Do you know any add-in in Excel for drawing línes, highlight, etc., while teaching or exposing some subjet????
You can draw lines and shapes in Excel from the Insert menu but as a teaching tool it's not a good solution. It's better to use something like Teams as a live demo or PowerPoint to create a presentation. Those tools give you pointers and highlighters to show your Excel subject. Otherwise the best option is to increase your pointer size settings in Windows so it is more visible.
Great info, however... I can not seem to find Activity Timer. it doesnt show up when i search for it. any ideas why?
Interesting. It's not showing up so they may have removed it or it is temporarily down. I'd give it some time and see if it works again later.

Yes, it's a bummer that it was disabled shortly after making the video. I don't see any other add-in that does the same thing. Let's hope they bring it back.

It is available in the Microsoft 365 version of Excel and has been renamed to Analyze Data in the latest version.

There appears "Add-in Error" like this, "we can't load this Add-in because we couldn't connect to the catalog". Please tell me why!

If you are able to create an ODBC connection then you can make it work with Power Pivot.

Yes, it looks like they cancelled that add-in shortly after I created the video. I've been waiting to see if it came back but it hasn't yet.

How to add piper plot
There is no option in Excel for a piper plot diagram. That would be a good add-in for someone to create.

The free add-ins are available in Office 365 Excel.
Couldn't find Activity Timer.
Activity Timer was removed shortly after this video for some reason. I don't know if it will be back or if it is a permanent removal.

Yes, it looks like that one has been removed. There is a new one called daily time tracker that may work.
