Great video ,I am sure you may know this but just in case you don’t n, leave your chickens in the coop for two weeks without letting them out ,this way they learn never to leave. Plus add some nesting boxes for eggs , and put straw on the floor to absorb their waste and you can use that for your garden to make better soil.

I really like watching your videos. everything was well organized, if I didn't like the place with the chickens, I could have made a fence with bamboo and a covered one with boxes for them to put. but being only outdoors because they are very closed, they have to scratch the earth. and you are beautiful.❤️❤️❤️

You are the only one I have ever seen put a roost inside the coup. So smart cause chickens like to be off the floor when they sleep. Are you going to fence them a yard? Every thing you do is so well built and nice.

Hello from Midwest USA. You are acquiring quiet a lovely little family of farm animals there at your home. The hens will need a nest box inside the coop to lay eggs when they get old enough. Maybe use some of the wood shavings from your woodworking projects on the floor to keep it fresh. Looks like they're pullets (young adult birds), so a couple months away from laying. The pigeon coop is very cool, they can come and go at will. Your new place is coming together nicely. You are a good engineer, builder, planner and gardener. Really enjoy your videos. Stay well!

Glad to see you have some chickens now. They need some type of box so you can put some straw or hay in it so they have somewhere to lay their eggs. It's gonna be nice now for you to start having some eggs. I love fried rice with eggs in it. I'm sure you know this but if you leave them in their pen for about 2 weeks without letting them out they will stay there once you do start letting them out. Be sure to give them fresh water everyday and clean the water bowl good. Some hay all on their floor would be better so when they go there's something to soak it up.. Plus whenever you clean it out you can use it all to put on a compost pile to help to fertilize it. That was a long board or stick up higher off the floor I saw in there wasn't it.. They definitely need that to roost at night to sleep. I'm sure you know all these things but it doesn't hurt to offer some help just in case you don't know some thing's . Am I to assume those were pigeons. They are beautiful. It didn't look like you had clipped their wings or maybe you did.. How do you plan on keeping them there. I hope your dog doesn't try to go after them or the chickens. Do you have a way of making something better for your water. Like a concrete box or something because that wood one is starting to look a little bad. I know it's not easy there. I was just curious if there was a better way for you. Good luck with the chickens and I hope the pigeons stay, or are they a set of doves. Sometimes it's hard to tell them apart but they are beautiful.

It should not be made of wood the water will only destroy it, it should be rock or use of cement for your dish washing area.
