First of all, thanks for watching. I've been waiting for this game for decades and this has been an absolutely incredible experience so far. Appreciate your time in watching these!
Also, going to say this straight up: I AM A SAVE SCUMMER. I have great fun in exploring different outcomes, reloading to make rolls I'd like to, reloading to do fights differently mid-fight, etc. This is how I have fun and enjoy the game. If this is not for you, THIS IS NOT A PLAYTHROUGH FOR YOU! Find another runner or do it yourself without save scumming but please understand, this is how I choose to enjoy my experience and I love it. Don't bother commenting if you don't understand it or don't like it, we all have fun in different ways. You do it your way, I'll do it mine and we can all enjoy BG3 in our own way. Anyway, enjoy the run and thanks again! 😁

... I'm sorry, but am I the ONLY ONE who's noticing how Cohh's character looks like bearded Prince Charming from Shrek?? lmao. It's amazing and now I just imagine poor Charming being yeeted to the B3 universe, getting kidnapped by ugly Squidward, then deciding to pursue a career as a handsome musician. Anyway, can't wait to binge this series.

Ten years ago I started really getting into the genre and was saddened that it was effectively dead than came the revival and it was, and still is since its still going, great but even then and still now I never ever expected a CRPG would effectively get the AAA treatment in terms of scope and budget. The fact that not only does this even exist but there's a possibility, albeit slim, that this game could effectively bring the genre to new heights never before seen is... just wow- insert Huell Howser gif-
Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous is another good CRPG that is worth checking out.

Ik around 2016 with all the success and new players coming to dnd due to live play streamers that we would get another. I wasnt sure who would make it or if it would be anywhere near as good as the first 2 games, but ik we would inevitably get something with all the popularity around it.

Video is just starting so my comment before watching is this is not my style of RPG (Been playing RPGs since Master System/Amiga Atari ST days) so I am looking forward to seeing how this plays and the control method, strategy of play. Told myself I was NOT going to play Bard, but seeing the dialogue options and how much fun Cohh was having I had to. No regrets.
Only thing I did different was one level in Rogue for extra proficiencies and expertise xD

I made a Human Bard too, called him Burdock. I won’t lie, my Guardian was this Huge 7ft tall Beautiful Platinum blonde mommy with thighs as wide as my torso and arms like Pythons. Good times had by all.

Was there a demo of this at one point or something because i swear ive seen this before.
Apologies for the late response but this game was in early access for a few years before finally releasing.
Can anyone recommend a playthrough where the streamer/youtuber played the game previously?
For those saying not to start with an odd number in a stat is wrong, or that its a waste and does nothing is wrong. I'm a new player to DnD and thankfully AI can cut through all the crap and give me pretty clear answers.
"Starting with a 17 in a stat in 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons can be advantageous for a few reasons. First, it allows you to have a significant bonus in that particular stat, enhancing your abilities and skills related to it. Secondly, it opens up the possibility of reaching a score of 20 through later level increases or magical items, giving you access to even greater bonuses. Additionally, having a high stat can provide your character with additional opportunities for success in certain situations, such as saving throws or skill checks. Overall, starting with a 17 in a stat can give your character a solid foundation for success and growth in the game."
Anyone who is a pro DnD 5e player disagree with this notion?
I mean there's no real reason to have an uneven stat if you can make it even but it isn't necessarily bad cause you can even it out with half feats
The point that they were likely making was that the bonus you get to ability checks increased on even numbers - 16 str means you have +3 to strength checks, 17 str means you still have +3. So the idea is to get as many even numbers for stats as you can. But getting uneven is fine if you know you're gonna get ability improvement and increase it to 18 for sure anyway - it's easy to get +1 extra stat point, +2 is a bit tougher etc.
Not my kind of game but man am I ready to watch! The enthusiasm Cohh has for this game has made me so excited to watch him play, nothing better than watching someone have so much joy and fun about something
