    I like both paintings but for different reasons as someone else stated. To me, at least, the small one suggests evening while the large one suggests late afternoon. I love suggestions of times of day. I will play the videos again and try to paint along with them. Thank you very much for the demo and all the DEMOS you do.

    My favourite was the landscape painting, great demo once again.

    Two very interesting studies I'm drawn to both but for different reasons. The first larger painting contains some beautiful washes with subtle colour mixing and tone. The second portrait picture has lovely strong contrasting lights and darks. Great video 👍

      I also like the washes in the larger painting, yet I like your creativity with using the atypical colors in the small painting. This was inspiring to watch. Love your use of the addition of water to the colors you have already laid down.

    My favorite is the second, more spontaneous and free. That torquoise touch very appropriate!

    I prefer the larger, cooler painting. Thanks for your inspiring livestream. Robert, you give me hope that I can paint the mountain streams, rocks & mountains here in Colorado. Did you say you're in the Bresse?

    I really love your videos. I did not know that you did live lessons on-line. Can you please tell me when you present these sessions? Also- do you provide a reference photo to go with these?Thanks.

    I can’t choose between the two, both are great.
    Just a quick question do you paint directly onto dry paper? Many thanks for your fantastic videos you make it look so easy, when I know it’s definitely not!!!!{

      Yes. Most of the times I start on dry paper. Thanks for watching 😀

      @@RobertMeeArtist Thanks Robert for the info. So in theory good quality paper, reasonable brushes, tube paints and plenty of water. I don’t watch anyone else tbh 👍
