This band is undeniably cool, fun, eclectic and just weird in a good way. The whole story they do in the middle, fuck... I hope they blow up and start doing massive stages with money to do whatever shit they want. It's not even my favorite type of music, but I'm glad it exists to push against the sea of boring repetitive pop and rap music the industry churns out daily. and I usually like heavier guitar oriented stuff but that part @4:24 that's some heavy shit I wasn't expecting. Siouxsie and the Banshees meets Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13, and Wes Borland style on bass. Pretty cool. They should put them on Lolla 2024 so they get noticed. Call Perry.

I am addicted to Castle Rat. I dont even need to mention the names of the bands they remind me of... but theyre all great ones. I need this band to make it big or my personal life soundtrack will be incomplete. Listened to their first album like a hundred times already. Obsessed is an understatement.
Im in the same boat! Their album will be on repeat for a while, I can really sit and listen to the whole thing all the way through its so good! Only wish it was longer which just means support them so they can continue to make great music

The audience was a bit weird unfortunately - this was an afternoon mini festival sort of thing with Castle Rat and 4+ other non-metal bands, so the audience was about 1/3 really excited metalheads and 2/3 confused normies who had no idea the greatness they were about to witness.
This is like seeing KISS circa 1974 playing to 150 people. This band is committed. They mean every note. They are going to be big. And the people in this small crowd will say "I was there."
Holy shit. These guys slap! Hot women donning skimpy sword and sorcery outfits definitely help. 😏 But they have some seriously good tones and their whole ensemble sounds freakin awesome!
This gets a high rating as bad ass, cant understand what yer saying but I LIKE What I hear and so far I am stunned at the quality, more Castle Rat 4 me in the future for sure..!
