I have seen some of your lectures - Congratulations, you so smart and talented in teaching. I recommend that you do more frequent videos if you can keep the same quality. Good Job.
What a fantastic video for giving facts! I was a 3 lb baby, and all my life I have had lung issues…presently Asthma, Bronchitis and Rhinovirus! I get a very dark green sputum and the antibiotic I am given seems to change…now I am a nose spray cortisone! The infections always last a month at least. Yet, I have never been taught the differences, severities or desired treatment! Thank you so much!
Could you please answer me one question, you say to diagnose COPD we do fv1 test and if it is less than 0.7 or less 70% then we say it is COPD. But in classification you put it in 4 degrees which starts from 80%. You call COPD from 70% but in degrees from 80%.
Hi doctor ! Do I need to classify my patient first by # of exacerbations/hosp and then by mMrc ? Does the order mater? Because it seems like depends on what classification u use first the group classification will change dramatically, for example: By exa/hosp patient can be either A-B or C-D By mMrc can be either A-C or B-D will u please clarify this for me thank you?
Obviously, doctors in general practice will not use GOLD. I doubt that most pulmonary specialists will learn it either. I have been referred to a pulmonary specialist, and I will ask him if he uses this new classification for diagnosis and treatment. If he says no I will find a doctor who is intelligent enough to have learned this up-to-date system.
U are just too sweat. After watching ur video on copd, its like. I am just hearing the word copd for the first time. Tnx. Please i wd really appreciate it if u can do a video on chest x ray. Really problematic for me. Mostly to look and know the diagnosis
