Sedra Bistodeau ~ Weiser National Fiddle Contest 2011 ~ Rd ??

The hoedown is Natchez under the hill, the waltz is Fritz's, and the tune of choice is Crafton's Blue. Besides sister Deena, the other two accompanists are Darrin Meeks and Anthony Mature...Two of the BEST! I am not sure what round this was. I think it was Saturday...so that would probably be round 5. I particularily loved this Round because Deena was Accompaning you. It;s easy to see how much she admires and supports you. When you came of stage after other rounds, she was always there at the bottom of the stairs to let you know she was your biggest fan! You might want to keep her LOL Sisters that good are hard to come by LOL. Nice pickin' Deena...and Sedra's set here is spectacular...as always! Several things I find of interest in this round...When Sedra finishes the first tune and is getting ready to play her waltz...notice her facial expression and change of attitude as she changes gears and prepares to bring passion to the tune. Secondly...I absolutely Love the way Sedra attacks the Crafton's Blues tune...She puts a fire to it right off the bat and doesn't let up till the last note is fleeing her fiddle ! Thirdly....notice how attentive the audience is...it's like they don't want to miss a single note...or hop LOL...and when she has concluded her set they really give her a huge round of applause...showing their appreciation for being treated to such a spellbinding set !!

@@SteveHanesFiddleMusic I have enjoyed watching her and her family play music for years now one can only say that this much talent and beauty comes first from God and then some damn good parenting.
I have never heard such a beautiful rendition of Fritz waltz until I heard Sedra play it. Their rendition of Orange blossom special was amazing Charlie Daniels God rest his soul would be proud. Sedra and Deana owned Orange blossom special along with Mom and Dad what a great video.
