Awesome! Theres also an intentional loop in Pink Floyds The Wall. The Ending and Beginning flow seamlessly into each other. And if you listen to it closely and loud enough you hear a voice say: "Isn't this where -- we came in?" With the sentence split in half by the transition.

Theres definitely more to it. There are so many patterns of synths that i found myself playing this album in shuffle and it was felt like each song connnected to the next one. No matter how it was shuffled. The transitons at the end of each track as well as the start of each track are so flawless. So many permutations of how this album can be played. Thats why its great. When you can shuffle the album any which way and it still sound good, you know its great

I have this friend who I just love everything about, he one of the cutest, and nerdiest guys I know and I've never really met another guy like him. I love listening to him talk about stuff hes into like shows and games and stuff and I cry listening to him sometimes because I just want to hold him more then anything and make him my world, but he could never want anything to do with me that way and it kills me being friends with him because I still get to listen to him and he still makes me happier then I've ever been in my entire life, but I still feel this ache in my chest like I just need him more then anything, and I feel that nobody cares about me which I'm kind of fine with, but the fact that he doesn't care just emotionally wrecks me and makes me feel worthless because I don't care whether or not I matter to anyone else I just want to matter to him. I keep listening to igor and it just reminds me of him and how much I love him and it makes me feel better honestly.
That's so cool, how at the initial first listen of the album it ends off as if it's a good ending with Igor coming to terms with his love life too. But in the end it's revealed to be much worse where it has been and will continue to be a cycle of toxicity and not just a failed love story
OMG, I love you. I feel like listening to full albums is a lost musical fan practice. I would never of picked that up I always know it ended on a imperfect cadence I just never realised it could be resolved with Igors theme Tyler’s musical prowess knows no bounds
I a have theory that Thundercats album “Drunk” is on a loop as well. The opening song called Rabbot ho starts off with getting into a night of mischief by getting drunk and then hoping he doesn’t get pulled over for a DUI. The last song on the album is titled DUI and it sounds exactly the same as the intro. On the final track he states “ there’s always tomorrow” and then the final line is “where this ends we’ll never know” meaning he’s bound to repeat the same mistakes again, thus repeating the cycle. Interestingly enough Stephen Bruner and Mac Miller were like best friends and he even dedicated a song to him. Mac Miller also had his album Circles on a loop as some people have stated. He’s good friends with Kendrick Lamar and he also had his album DAMN on a loop.

@@johnbaca80 Tyler each song is cut off differently, except for the last and first track, while nonagon infinity the track continues from track one to track nine seamlessly, hence why it's called nonagon infinity (nonagon means 9 sided polygon)
I saw this vid when it came out and it reignited my love for this album and hip hop in general. Thanks man.
i never knew this album was abt him liking a guy, lowkey makes me admire tyler even more. hes def the GOAT 🐐
Was igor your first tyler album?
@@dmetriusmarch nah it was flower boy but only some songs. i didn’t really really get into him until igor came out but i have listened to his songs before igor.
“A boy is a gun”
…named Felicia
So if i he didnt like a boy he wasnt the goat🥲😪
My favorite example of this is Donuts by J Dilla, one of the best instrumental hip hop albums ever. he produced it while on his death bed so the idea of the album looping forever is really beautiful to me, it's like he poured his soul into the beats and lived forever through them.
"IGOR is a perfect musical loop"
*Dark Side of the Moon having the same heartbeat at the beginning and end and only having one or two times the songs don't flow between each other*
Both, both is good
This is about Igor though
Same with The Wall. The loop indicates that the wall is never ending.
igoe better tho
The album stops at the song The Great Gig in the Sky because it’s the last song on the first side of the album. It must stop because you physically have to flip the album to continue. (Nevermind the profile pic)
Now I feel even more like Igor LOL
One of the best RUclips shorts I’ve seen
Man is a musical genius bro there is no doubting it.
This even fits in the themes of call me if you get lost when he said that the girl that he fell in love with was just another book of lovers which plays in to the theme of Tyler running in circles and never being able to find the perfect relationship
this is what made me listen to IGOR, thankful for this
Still one of the most under appreciated artists
Kanye did this with 808 and heartbreak and the heart “beat” in “Say You Will” is featured throughout the album.
One of my favorite albums is a musical loop, but not a narrative loop. Still, it's an incredible work of art. I'm talking about "Fantastic Planet" by Failure.
Kids dont even know what theyre missing!
Wow! Less than a minute into the album and I was already digging it. And then I got to Segue 1 and damn. It’s very 90’s grunge but a super unique take on the genre. Thanks for mentioning it!
Ever listen to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard? They’re a more current group that has a looping album called Nonagon Infinity that I would strongly recommend.
don't mind me, just placing a ward to come seek these bands later
@@finonevado8891 in case you need a notification to bring you back to the thread later, this is a response.
YESSSS I love Failure!
i’d be so hyped if i made a theory about tyler’s music and he himself liked it
I absolutely agree. I’d jump onto my bed. Lay on my stomach and kick up my legs while doing a cute little giggle.
@@dNorshwhat in the balls
Damn its so refreshing seeing such a relatable ground level almost essential to life experience/issue be expressed by such a large artist, and in such a creative way aswell that utilizes the medium of music so well
Igor woo ruclips.net/user/shortsSZz3MK9p_tE?feature=share
Tyler is a musical genius, And you are a genius for the explanation and that perfect loop.
And that’s how..another igor loop
Tyler will be remembered at analyzed for decades to come.
Awesome! Theres also an intentional loop in Pink Floyds The Wall. The Ending and Beginning flow seamlessly into each other.
And if you listen to it closely and loud enough you hear a voice say: "Isn't this where -- we came in?" With the sentence split in half by the transition.
That album will always be one of my favorites
That is where he got the idea.
hes so creative bro 😭
Lemon demon's spirit phone kinda some something similar. The album is about spooky otherworldly occult occurrences, beginning the album with the word die in lifetime achievement award, and ending with the word life in spiral of ants.
it also actually loops, as the white noise in the beginning of lifetime achievement award is also at the end of spiral of ants
@@lemonmoonlavender I love Neil so much
I just wanna say, this channel is nonstop bangers. I have so much more appreciation for music I had never listened to before, and my Spotify playlist gets longer by the day. Thank you for that.
this is something called secondary dominance. one of my favorite musical techniques
Like a power bottom?
@@bornanagaming3329 PLEASE I CRIEDDD
Damn, i always thought about this but i never heard someone explaining it so clearly, well done
Musical friggin genius man I’m so proud I watched him evolve from 2011 to now ♥️👏🏽 and he’s just getting started
Shut up
I love albums with stories, frickin brilliant
Major respect to Tyler for this thought
Lol this is haunting bruh imagine going through the same mess over and over again
Bro tyler is fr a fucking genius
Theres definitely more to it. There are so many patterns of synths that i found myself playing this album in shuffle and it was felt like each song connnected to the next one. No matter how it was shuffled. The transitons at the end of each track as well as the start of each track are so flawless. So many permutations of how this album can be played. Thats why its great. When you can shuffle the album any which way and it still sound good, you know its great
this kinda shit makes me so happy
Very reminiscent of how Dream Theater would end an album, and start the next with the exact same note as the previous one ended on. Very cool!
I love Dream Theater!!!!
Having this theory hit me like a ton of bricks, I cant believe I never thought about the cylical nature of it. Especially after going through something similar when the album itself dropped. I didn't learn my lesson after listening. Now I know 😑
igor is one of my favorite albums of all time, and I genuinely love when Tyler connects his songs, it makes the entire album a whole experience.
I see what you did at the end. His album is an infinite loop just like your explanation on this video
i love igor
Just fecking tell him
Honestly I agree with the dude that's on top of me
Tell him. You might regret it, but at least you won't regret never having told him. You really will never know unless you tell him.
This a great clip, I love that it loops itself. Well done!
I love Tyler
That's so cool, how at the initial first listen of the album it ends off as if it's a good ending with Igor coming to terms with his love life too. But in the end it's revealed to be much worse where it has been and will continue to be a cycle of toxicity and not just a failed love story
OMG, I love you. I feel like listening to full albums is a lost musical fan practice. But you're absolutely right that I always am left unresolved, despite how much that final track always makes me sing from my soul. I'm going to loop it today. Thank you. You just set the mood for the entire Tuesday. 💜💜💜
idk i try to listen to 1 full album a day
That whole album is a masterpiece 🖼
I love it when artists do this and execute it beautifully. The Wall by pink Floyd is gotta be my favorite that loops their album
How dare you compare this abomination with Pink Floyd!! In what workd do these two musicians correlate!!? 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮
Unrelated, is that a demigirl flag in your pfp?
@@brodylemmons9661 No it’s a pink American flag by a rapper called lil uzi vert, they’re non binary
@@bjornboi1175 Oh, neat, thought I found another in the wild. Still cool though, I'll check them out.
A few King Gizzard albums do the same thing, and they're some of my favorites.
I'll have to check this one out.
This guy is the reason I started listening to tyler
I would never of picked that up I always know it ended on a imperfect cadence I just never realised it could be resolved with Igors theme Tyler’s musical prowess knows no bounds
Perfect 10/10 album
he’s literally a musical genius
Tyler is actually a genius I don’t even like his type of music genre but he makes me love it
This is why Tyler is one of my favorites he still makes art not just music
Isn’t music art
Ahh i see what you did there
This video is a never ending loop itself
This album is a masterpiece inside and out istg

edit(the mac miller album is a loop too)
Which one
This reminds me of Mac Millers album: Swimming
You mean Circles. That's where he used notes to string the last and first song together 😉
