I know it takes more time but I want you to know I appreciate it... as I'm sure many others do as well
As mentioned below...I've heard this narrated before your version was deeper...more heartfelt...more personal. I've experienced this demon before...in my life. I think everyone has, in one way or another...the father of lies, true evil personified...the bane of our existence. The secret is to not succumb to its lies...there IS hope...there is salvation. Thank you for this gift Stephen. God bless you, storyteller.(and that is the highest compliment I can give)

You are also my favorite narrator now as well. You also choose great content and try out a good mix. Thanks for all the stories. I will always be here to listen.
I love, love this narrator and this story! I lost my mom going on 4 years ago to ALS and it still hits me hard. You could have all the friends in the world, but not one of them can ever replace your mom. I miss the conversations and stories, just the overall essence of her being there. Thank you for this fantastic story!

What an awesome story. I unfortunately know what it's like to pass the young age of a deceased parent, it's a sobering and reflective experience. For myself it made me understand for the first time that there was a person before the parent. That simple sentence in no way conveys the depth of the understanding. I have thought many times over the years of making recordings like these. Especially as I know just how quickly your world can change . This is perhaps the reminder I needed to get my ass into gear and make some videos, just to be on the safe side! Thank you for this, Stephen most sincerly, Thank you . Cheers, Lee.

Immersive and beautifully read as always! Also, given the premise that the tapes can react to reality you can imagine the mini heart attack I had at the introduction of Phoebe 😂

I think it's cute that they kept the tapes. I love those ever so slightly wholesome creepypastas. And all of those people end up getting rid of all of their family members belongings. Please keep up the good work.

Oooooohhhhh, YES!!!!! EXCELLENT!!! VERY WELL DONE!! That was freaking excellent!!! Excellent story, excellent, excellent narration!! I absolutely loved it!!
This one reminds me a bit of the "Ignore the Earwig" (which I definitely recommend looking up because DAMN that one's a good read, that and An Empty Prison are still my two favorite creepypastas I've ever read) creepypasta in the way that it's conclusion sets up that by being made aware of the monster you're now potentially a target for it. There's something uniquely terrifying about stories like that, it's almost like breaking the 4th wall and it has the effect of making the threat of the monster in the story feel more real and personal and it sticks with you longer as a result. It's kinda interesting because it's such an effective tactic but you don't see it used as often as you'd expect. I think the fact that it isn't used that often really is also part of why it's so effective because you don't get desensitized to it as much as the usual creepypasta format. It's way too easy for writers to default to "OP encounters eldritch abomination and then writes about their encounter on Reddit" (actually it's more often this but substitute "encounters" with "damn near gets killed by") when writing a creepypasta and it's not that I don't enjoy seeing some of the monsters we're capable of inventing, it just stops being scary after you listen to enough of those stories haha, when the eldritch abomination is made to be a threat to the reader it kinda feels a bit more ominous, that's all I'm saying.
To the guy in the story. Hey, no worries. I think my family already has something like that. Not exactly the same, but similar. So much misfortune, but we just don't die... Not ripe enough yet I guess.
If you put the 80s(?) Goosebumps intro at the beginning of the video, you could convince those audio listeners that these are from the goosebumps franchise.
