It's fabulous you're doing this video. I went last year and would love the opportunity to go again. The food is quite cheap, you need to look around. Al-baik is the Saudi version of KFC. There's usually little shops that are set up as take aways that sell shwarma's and such like - we got some shwarma meal deal for around 7 riyals that were tasty. Go to Riyadh, the capital city explore lots. Its worth seeing
@Alan_and_Shannon there's an attraction called Edge of the world, it has fabulous views. There's the Al-turaif world heritage site, the Souks, malls and mosques. You get your usual camel rides quad biking here too. The city of Madinah is worth visiting. A holy city, its landscape is worth seeing. I found that some shopping malls had your usual shops but also had basement level markets underneath. Think of it as a fancier indoor version of the Barras market! You'll be safe when out and about at night & I found that when I was out with my girls, at night, we never got harrased.

At Jeddah you can visit the aquarium. At Riyadh you can try the brand New Metro. The food: At Jeddah you can try one of the famous traditional Restaurants like abu-zaid or al-qarmosi, and the landmark Restaurant of Jeddah, Which is Al-Baik, you'll find a lot of things at al-balad or Old-Jeddah, you may try also, Kabsa, Mufattah, Saleeg,Jareesh. The Dessert could be: Luqaimat, Ma'amoul, Klija.
Just a small correction, its called "JEDDAH", not "Yeda". Maybe thats why the driver was confused. In arabic, J is pronounced as it is. Also another reason the chicken mightve tasted better than any western country is because in any muslim countries... the Meat is sourced according to the islamic rituals/otherwise known as Halal Meat (halal meaning Permissible in Arabic). The animals are hand slaughtered and their Carcass is cleansed of the Blood (which is the main secret behind why Halal Meat are often tender compared to factory slaughtered meat). Even in my own country Bangladesh we had Nandos, however due to their lack of quality (some of it owing to their undercooked chicken) and unreasonable price, it shut down. So yeah, whatever meat dish you try in Muslim countries... It will def taste more tender than what you normally eat back home

U must see the king fahad fountain, it's the tallest fountain in the world. There are many activities and museums in Jeddah, or just go with the flow and explore the beauty of Saudi Arabia. @Alan_and_Shannon u know saudi arabia is a huge country with more than 2 million km, it's diverse, there are Green mountains, desert, rocks formation, plateaus, volcanos, stunning pristine islands, forests and valleys ( we call it Wadi), cold temperature and rainy all year in southwest of Saudi. We have all things, just explore and enjoy. I recommend you to visit Al-Ula, it's beyond imagination 👌 it's tourist spot rn but it's expensive. I suggest to go Al-Ula for one day and see elephant rock and biggest building of mirror called Maraya blend in nature. There are more than 100 places and activities to do in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, I will mention some of them on ur coming vids. 💚🇸🇦
Go to Riyadh, there are all means of transportation, metro and buses, and it is very cheap, and there are many Saudi cultural tourist attractions, such as the Riyadh season, and the temperature is very low. Riyadh is better than Jeddah.
