I don't know why I thought 2 tablespoons of brown sugar was a part of it, but I'm glad I did! It's an amazing addition to the sauce and my kids and husband want it all the time!

Love it! But pork chops are time dependent even a tad over cooked and you got tough meat. Best to undercook, and finish in the sauce. Will be trying for sure looks delicious

Delicious recipe. I did however switch the searing oil for a chunk of filtered bacon grease to cook the pork chunks. For the spice mix, I used paprika, onion & garlic powder, with freshly pressed garlic (we love alliums being from NY), kosher salt, and fresh oregano from our garden. I also put the pork over freshly made white rice with squeezed lime juice with its zest. We also used 4 tbsp butter for the sauce along with home made veggie broth. Awesome! We finished our bowl topping with some freshly made guacamole, chopped (seeded) Roma tomatoes & onion in a light avocado oil.)

Recipe appears keto but may need more fat for macros, Cooking hint 50/50 oil and butter will not burn easily (anything can burn) and imparts great butter flavor earlier in recipe. May try varying recipe with white wine instead of soy sauce in pan sauce or brown mustard or sliced jalapeno peppers for a spicy alternative
