I guess this means that Jemma Simmons is truly the director of SHIELD
And so is Phil!!
As they always has been.
@@agenttriplettt4106 ya think
Joel Stoffer acting normal in the Enoch costume is throwing me off.
No frrrr😂😂😂
Omg I was going to write something like this 😀😀😀. It is too weird to see him talking like normal human being 😂😂😂😂
Oh, btw, F 😭😭😭😭😭
RIGHT?!!! When he started speaking normally it hit me, "Oh, he actually ISN'T a robot, he's just that good."
THE VOICE IS THROWING ME OFF
Omg yeeeeeees it's just so strange
Not only has Elizabeth been the central character in arguably the best episode in the series (4,722 hours), but now she's directed one of my all-time favorite episodes in the series so far.
Couldn't agree more.
yes!
ikrrr
it's the best rated AoS episode of all time on imdb!!
I'm so proud of her
After 7 seasons, she finally got to direct an episode.
And what a banger of an episode it was , made its way to my top 5 easily ^^
Animusswtor W
Wait is season 7 out if it is what is it out kn
@@801kaden3 it just finished airing on ABC. The series finished last month. You could probably watch it on demand still, maybe.
@@801kaden3 It’s going to be on Netflix on October 30
“I need an actor and director”
Get yourself an Elizabeth Henstridge who can do both really really well, especially considering this is her director if debut. Hats off to her
She's also lifting now
She hot
The episode was pretty fuckin awesome not gonna lie
Clark Gregg directed 2 episodes
@@ramdelure What two episodes?5x6 and?
Even Clark is
Lol my favorite scene was when enoch obliterated everybody and they were all lying there and deke was dead but they didn't care😂😂
My favorite part has to be when Phil and Daisy are sitting on the floor banged up to hell talking about how Enoch didn't find their joke ironic in the slightest bit.
Deke dead he mad me dead 😂😂😂😭
. V
That was hilarious 🤣
@@derickadjei9849 oooooooooooooooioo
I have never heard Joel Stoffer’s real voice! It came at me from out of nowhere! XD
Me too
If you want to hear more of his voice check out Elizabeth's live stream of this episode. Also appearing are Chloë, Clark, Enver, Jeff and the writer Drew Greenberg(who was a writer on Buffy, so he knows all about inflicting pain on the viewers).
Given the real difficulties the episode presented, the fact that the creators gave her that episode says volumes about how prepared they knew she'd be and how talented a director she would be, and she rewarded them with a fabulous job. Definitely didn't look like a 1st-time director did the episode, and that's probably the best compliment you can give. Really hope she gets another major TV acting role after this so I can keep watching her be a very good actress, but if she decides to become a nearly full-time director, she clearly has the chops for it.
Am I the only one who thought this was one of the best episodes of the entire series?? It makes it even better knowing she directed it!
co-sign
Ditto
Definitely. Going from seriousness, to hilarity to sadness & mourning so organically was really amazing to watch. In fact I think I'm going to go & watch it again now.
It is definitely up there
Highest rated on IMDB
Hearing Joel without his Enoch voice terrifies me to this very day
Idk, to me he was still talking like a robot(sorry, a chronicom). Like listen to this lol 1:39. "Peoples' hEAds start to spIn."
I like how almost everyone has cuts, scrapes, and bruises, and Ming-Na is over here like fresh from the makeup trailer
I mean it is Ming-Na
They were probably just finished filming or preparing for the finale.
"Is Deke dead?".... "Very Dead!" those lines along with the camera shot in this episode almost kill me hehehe. The best episode of the season along with "know your oinions" in my humble opinion obviously.
you forgot "Do we need to be sad about that?
Seeing the cast support her with her director debut makes me smile. She made an amazing episode. ❤
This video just makes me smile. Elizabeth is incredible.
Elizabeth did such a wonderful job as a director. The fact that this episode brought out so many of our emotions just shows how amazing the entire team behind this series is! That’s why it’ll always be my favorite!
This was such an incredible episode!!!! I’ve never laughed so much, been so stressed, and so sad throughout an episode. Her and Drew and the rest of the cast and crew did amazingly. And the scene with her crying after her implant was removed was insane too!!
They’re so supportive of her i’m loving the love they’re showing her ❤️🥺
She's so adorable
Honestly one of the best episodes of AoS I have watched. And it must be hugely rewarding and gratifying for Elizabeth to see 7x09 is the highest rated AoS episode on IMDB ever. Congratulations 💪🏿
So this means she directed the Sousy scenes huh, WE NEED MORE ELIZABETH HENSTRIDGE.
This episode has bold action
I'm so proud of Elizabeth! She directed a great episode for her first time and I can't wait to see more from her. How it would be amazing and fascinating to see her working on set, both playing or directing 👏🏻🤩 This woman is so talented in everything she's doing. Please, gimme moooooooore!!! 🤩 🤩 🤩
And my favorite Jemma moments? All of them. There're no one moment I don't like from her. But if I have to choose.... All the scenes from 3x05 are absolutely beautiful and amazing. Once again. The word talent was created for Elizabeth 🤩👏🏻
It was an amazing episode, Elizabeth is already such a great actress now it's revealed she's an awesome director too? It's almost unfair that one person can have this much talent!
My favorite episode of the entire season. So proud of Elizabeth! And it made my heart all fuzzy that everyone gushed over her.
I can’t wait until Agents of shield is on disney plus
Will they put all the seasons on Disney plus?
Season 1 to 6 are available in Europe
I hope they don't lose the feel of the show. It has really played out like a great overall comic book story.
@@s_kn7232 yes after the season 7 series finale air
Still amazes me that’s on there with all the stuff they said about season 4 onwards being more mature
This episode was amazing
I wanna give a shoutout the sth I think is overlooked a lot but every single one of these actors sold all their scenes with their facial expressions. I didn’t only feel for them, I felt almost exactly the same they felt with them, especially Joel stoffer in enochs last amazing Speech maintained his usual monotone robot voice while going through so many emotions through facial expressions, this is easily in my top 5 episodes of the show, if not too 3 even ^^
Its been a while since a show made me cry. Such an A MAY ZINNNGGGG episode
One of the best episodes this season and this series tbqh. Only next to Self-Control S4ep15. Which is still the best episode for me
Exactly what I was thinking too, this episode and self control had the best death monologues ever
it is a shame that this series ends, but everything good ends, it had everything: script, actors ...
Part of the journey is the end...
One of the best episodes of the show.
"For episode 9, I am taking the role of director."
Who are you trying to kid, it's obvious that Jemma Simmons has been the real director this whole season LOL
ming-na goes like "a pain in the BEEP"😂
so cute
Definitely one of my favorite episodes, she did a great job as director for the episode and acting for the series. She's very talented.
Elizabeth is amazing! 🙌
She deserves all the support.
And all the scenes from FitzSimmons are my favorite hahaha. 🤭❤️
"He did not see the irony" Literally died laughing at that. And is it bad that I laughed every time they got beat up and how Daisy was so done by the second time she was thrown into a wall lol
I'm so proud of Elizabeth! Episode 9 was amazing, she did great!
Farewell 'Enoch'. We will remember you.
As we always will
She did an incredible job, and the cast and crew were incredible as well! One of the best episodes of the entire show.
I already seen Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 7 episode 9, 'As I Have Always Been' for my third time already. Because I always love time loops movies/tv show episodes films, its always complicated but hilarious at same time so for this episode and Elizabeth Henstridge having to direct it was unexpected surprise. I love it, 10/10, 5 stars☆☆☆☆☆, etc....just shocked me that Enoch was the one who was reprogrammed to sabotage if the implant was removed and was the key but had to sacrifice him to fix the time drive:(
I loved it too!! Where did you watch it again though? I watched it live.
@@Quake09 Same. I did too, it was too good that I sometimes be on my phone watching it from ABC app or watch it from On Demand Spectrum tv, over, over and over again I never stopped watching it. I love time loops movies/tv episodes films, hilarious and complex at same time.
Steven Cruz thanks for telling me, I want to watch it again. I definitely can’t wait until it’s put on Netflix or Disney+!!
Ok, now we need her to direct Iain de Caestecker :))))
The fact that this episode was one of the best, and it was like her first episode that she directed, the episode was amazing
0:05 I love how Clark is just so impressed and happy for Elizabeth
The best episode in a long time
I'm so proud of Elizabeth Henstridge for directing this episode 😁😍
One of the best episodes of the series. Enoch's death was heartbreaking and perfectly acted. Everyone was on top of their game this episode.
Her episode was in my opinion of of the best in the series
This is by far my favorite episode in the 6th and the 7th season. Elizabeth that was bonkers! Great job! If you direct a movie I ve already bought myself a ticket.
She directed Clark Gregg and Chloe Wang to act like they were high on Expresso 😄😄😄 but it paid off in the last 5-10 mins of the ep. Well now she got her DGA
Frantic Coulson and Daisy were amazing!
A bloody good debut. This was one of my fav episodes in the whole show
Elizabeth honestly knocked this episode out of the park. As a fan who has been around since Season One Episode One, I think she just directed her way into my top three favorite episodes of all time.
The best show I have ever seen. I was in school back in 2013 so I never payed attention to it but 2020 and I’ve watched it from season 1. Kind of wished I watched it back in 2013 so I could watch and grow as the show evolved through out the years.
This series is a masterpiece and the best in MCU
And of ALL the episodes to direct, and they gave her this beast as her first!?
Wild.
And one of the best episodes of not just the season, but the whole series to boot.
I was excited when I red she was directing and became awed with the episode. One of the best of the show and one of the most emotional.
Wow! I just watched this episode and was so enthralled by it from start to finish. It has to be the best of the season so far and one of the best....AMAZED it’s Elizabeth’s directorial debut. Well done! She will be doing big things soon!!!
Honestly, this is one of my favorite episodes! I'm so proud of her!
my favorite moment of jemma simmons in the entire series is, when she helps that inhuman girl in the future
“I’m very grateful for this opportunity but I also earned it” queen words
Hands down, one of the best episodes ever if not THE best. Elizabeth did a great job. 😍😍
Favorite Simmons moment when her and fitz are first introduced she took the risks being a field agent, she made fitz join. now she running the show on and off camera. Can't wait see what Elizabeth working on next.
Easily my favourite episode so far!
she’s just so amazing omg IMSOPROUD 🥺🥺😭😭❤️❤️
so proud of her. she did great , well done Elizabeth
This video was amazing, basically a tribute to Elizabeth :p
I thought the whole "Ground Hog Day" because of the episode structure... funny to hear them all say the same thing. Elizabeth Henstridge did a great job and it is a great opportunity for her future as this series comes to an end. Jeff Stover as Enoch will be missed, but he did a great job the last couple of seasons.
The most epic episode of this season and possibly the whole show, so complicated, yet executed so perfectly. So emotional in both fun and sad aspects, so much heart. MORE DIRECTING FROM HER PLEASE.
Elizabeth did a great job. The episode was one of the best of the entire series!
SHE WAS AN AMAZING DIRECTOR OF LAST EPISODE!!!!! THE BEST SO FAR FROM THE ENTIRE SEASON!!!!!
And she NAILED it with this beautiful episode!
Agent Sousa looking like a romance novel hero is what I’m here for.
Considering the time period that he came from, Enver does the classic, Cary Grant-type look very well.
Elizabeth Henstridge did such a good job, hands down best of the season so far
I think it’s really great to see how everyone is so supportive of her! She’s such a sweetheart!
She realized the best episode of the season and probably one of the best of the entire series so It didn't go bad at all
by far, one of my favorite shows
I Love Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
So proud of her after 7 seasons💕❤️
I love this episode, it was AMAZING❤️
The best time loop episode I've ever seen. Loved it.
I loved this episode so much, she did such an incredible job!
it's amazing to see how happy she was
And that episode was one of the best in the season!
This is the only time loop show I love!
“Is Deke dead?” & Sousy!
Elizabeth you are AWESOME!!! CONGRATS ON THE EPISODE!!!!
This was one of my favorite episodes of the whole show
So happy for her. She is just very genuine and humble. :)
Oh, wow! She directed that one!!! I loved it! So good emotional scene and so good laughs before that!
I'm so proud of Elizabeth!!
She did so amazing work. I loved this episode so much💗
One of the best episodes of the series and I'm so happy that Elizabeth got to directed, I'm so proud of her, she did an amazing job!!
Best episode so far. And Elizabeth directed it for the first time? Wow. And the episode wasn't even a simple plot.
For her debut, she did an amazing job!
1:26 almost made me spit out my drink. Seeing Joel like this is so weird/cool even though he's just being normal LOL
this episode was absolutely perfect and got me sobbing. if it wasn't for the amazing cast, writer and this utterly talented debuting director, i know for SURE it wouldn't have conveined so much emotion. i'm astonished
It's always difficult to pick a favorite with these characters but season 1 when she was infected with the Chitauri virus was a great episode but I have to agree that "her" episode, stranded on the alien planet was amazing. She carried nearly the entire episode and her relationship with Will was adorable.
Oooo I'm the 1st of the veiws love Elizabeth's work 💝. ......woah she is taking that opportunity 🎉🎉 to the max.
This so wholesome and lovely and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Amazing job, this episode was incredible.
Must say this is one of my favourite episodes
Elizabeth did an amazing job directing this episode, which is one of my favorites from the season and from the show as well! Can't wait to watch her next projects. I'll miss this cast and this show so much but so excited to see what they will do next.
I just finished watching the episode! She did such a good job!!!
Elizabeth IRL is Jemma Simmons oriented towards film. Absolutely all of her work in AoS has been amazing.
