To hear Ming Na Wen say this is one of the highlights of her career in acting is huge - she has had many leading roles including Mulan in the animated Disney Movie. She also was in Stargate for three years, Three and a Half men over three seasons in assorted episodes, and ER for 9 years and over 100 episodes. Pretty major acting jobs in her long career and saying this is a highlight I think shows again how close this cast and crew became through the trials and tribulations this show suffered through every year when it was finally renewed. Will definitely miss this show as it has become the best Marvel series on TV so far (better than the Netflix shows which were pretty good in their own right).
My favorite line of hers in the finale was the "Flying the plane used to be ALL I did." So true, her character really went places and evolved massively over the show.
@@SnorboSockfish It was Stargate Universe, she was in the first two episodes (at least) and periodically after that I believe. She portrayed Camile Wray.

The only Marvel show to end on its own term, and that is well deserved. The whole crew created a marvelous show, and the writers did a phenomenal job of letting the cast showcase their capabilities, especially Iain De Caestecker. The series finale is definitely going to be one big cryfest.
I agree with you completely, but unless De Caestecker had his own personal (schedule conflict) reasons, it's really a disgrace that he's only going to appear in the finale in the final season. Yeah, he appeared a little in the last episode, but he deserved better for the LAST SEASON
clash5j Iain did have scheduling conflict. He is expected to appear in not only one but two British miniseries this year, but he is in the series finale.
@@NorthernLaw_ By fem, do you mean feminism? If that is the case, I have a feeling I know what kind of feminism you are indicating. The one that is distorted in the media, especially the entertainment business, and I don't think AOS pushed that agenda. I think AOS had some great female characters, who didn't see men as their number one enemy, which is the case in the majority of shows/movies, that tries to tackle gender equality issues.
From "The Bus" to "The Lighthouse", from a ragtag team of misfits and nerds to a powerpack family, from rookie Agents to Gods, Aliens and LMDs, this 7-year journey has been incredible. Thank you Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for being a part of my life. As it all ends, let me just say... *Welcome to Level 7*
All started with a man trying to talk to Tony Stark, first name "Agent". Hoping that just like him, "dying" will be this show's kind of superpower. Then again, part of the journey is the end. So, thank you AoS!
Holden Radcliffe's monologue at the beach, against a dying Framework sunset: "Though immortality may have eluded me, perhaps it's for the best. After all, what is eternity without my beloved Agnes by my side? This is the way the world ends; not with a bang, but a -- "
Hard to believe it was 2008 when "Agent Colson" bypassed Tony's Stark's security system to deliver a message, and he and Pepper are bantering and Tony is like, "who is this guy"? Now it's 2021 and Clark Gregg has had more screen time in the MCU than ANY OTHER Marvel character, ever. You're the man!
My fav... ' Ward, you speak 7 languages, Simmons, you ave 2 doctorates in things I can't pronounce, and Fitz, you ARE a rocket scientist, WORK IT OUT!'
In 5 years, people will appreciate this series more. It's a great piece of art that didn't get the recognition it deserved at the time of its original airing but it will become a classic for sure.
I'm not sure if you're gonna see this, but seeing the state of the MCU and the contrast with the absolute masterpiece we had on Agents of Shield... I'm so thankful.
Marvel needs to give the team making this show a movie in the MCU. They have a great group of writers, it's criminal if they don't get the opportunity to do something else together.
I honestly feel like if one of the movies can bring Coulson back into present-day MCU, there's a very good chance he could recruit Daisy at least. I don't know why they think it's so complicated (given his death) to reintroduce his character; itd take up like 10 min of exposition in an Avengers movie to explain at the very most...
... I wouldn't say that. When the big shift up happened and Pearlmutter left the TV division, they fought to give AoS 2 more seasons. It always ended up on the fringe of canon, but it got some love behind the scenes.
So many favorite moments, where to start? "We are not agents of nothing, we are agents of shield" back in season 1 Fitzsimmons' first kiss and wedding Spy's goodbye Deke's Don't You Forget About Me Loop episode is GREAT (ep 9, season 7)
my favorite moment is from season 2 when daisy(then skye) thought that's something wrong with her after went through the terrigenesis and Fitz gave her a hug and said: "You're just different now, and that's nothing wrong with that." That scene hit me REAL hard.
This is how you end a show, EPIC. So many great shows with a really terrible ending, leaving an empty feeling in your gut, making you think why did i watch this show. Thank you guys at ABC, especially you writers for giving us wonderful nights of entertainment with show, the drama, the humor, the action, the suspense, the love, the tears, the sense of doing good for each other, making us all feel like kids again, and making us believe that there are still good people in this world, and a beautiful ending that i will remember for a very long time, and a show i will dearly miss, like a member of my family...
@@loganxman Yep. Knowing what a wet fart GoT goes out on makes rewatching it almost impossible. AoS on the other hand got a great finale, with the fates of all the characters feeling earned (even the great lost Enoch) and great.
Yep, this ending was nostalgic, satisfying, and well thought out. It felt like you were rewarded for your seven years of watching. Each of our favorite characters, all friends by now, got the type of send-off he deserved. We miss them, but somewhere in our hearts we feel like they live on in lives that are meaningful and rewarding, and we are happy for them. Contrast this with the ending of Game of Thrones, where every character became the opposite of what we''ve always known, and the ending left every viewer saying :WTF?? What? That can't possibly have happened!! That makes no freaking sense, AT ALL!!!!" Bad endings are not only a let down. They rob the viewer of their expectations. It's like promising the arrival of Gandalf, and in the end Pee Wee Herman is ushered on stage. You just feel cheated, like the whole past 7 or 8 years were a scam. Agents of Shield did it right.
This is too heavy. So many hours have I bonded with these characters I feel like I know them well and I don’t want that to end. Don’t thank us fans for staying around, we should thank you for making something so amazing for us. All of the hours were well worth it in the end. Thank You Agents Of Shield!
Man I used to make sure I was watching on time so it positively effected the ratings to prevent cancellation. If I couldnt do it, Id have my sister tune in real quick lol
To everyone at Agents of Shield, the cast, the crew, the producers, directors, show runners. THANK YOU. Thank you for telling an incredible story with incredible characters. Thank you for making what has been in my opinion one of the best shows I’ve ever seen and one that I will be watching again and again for many years to come. It has been an incredible and sometimes emotional ride.
Favourite moment? "Get ready for a large file transfer." I've been a fan of this show since day one and I have never been more connected to a TV show in my life. Thank you for the years of excitement, heartbreak and suspense. I love everything about this show and I can't wait to rewatch it all again after I get to watch the finale.
From all Marvel shows, Agents of S.h.i.e.l.d. was my favorite. Even better than the Netflix shows, it explored many concepts inside the MCU using great characters that i loved very much. It will end now, but its legacy will remain.
@@Jo-fk1be on the one hand, I agree. But on the other, I think the show was best when it wasn't trying to tie into the movies. It definitely grew better, to me, as it was given more freedom to do what the writers wanted. In regards to having been promised a show that was going to be integral to the entire overarching story of the MCU. And to the lack of respect for the show and everyone involved, it's absolutely a failure.
@@jonathonwhitington402 oh yeah i 100% agree with you. I liked when it separated itself from the movies because they could finally tell their own stories. The show is about them not the outside mcu. I just meant that now that the show's over, I hope Feige finds a way to allow those characters to continue. I meant like it'd be a mistake if he didn't because that'd waste the potential of some of the best characters in the mcu. The core 8 and Enoch are all in my top 20 mcu characters.
How does a TV show get off to such a shaky start (that t-shirt Jed had on - subtle) and then just get better and better every single season? Everyone involved deserves ice cream, amazing job all round, this is going to leave a massive hole in my schedule that's going to be really hard to fill, and I'm going to miss you all way more than I expected to back in 2013 x
I was just rambling about it in an earlier comment but honestly the 1st season is IMMENSELY improved on a rewatch. Things that seem like extremely stupid character behavior suddenly is extremely clever foreshadowing, like Ward taking his earplugs out to deal with the Asgardian. At the time it seems like a character being horror-movie levels of stupid, but when you realize he's actually trying to make contact with her for Hydra it completely changes everything. That whole episode made me nearly stop watching the show on a first viewing. On a second viewing, I realized it was one of the most clever setups I've seen in a show like this.
@@BlazingOwnager that is so true. I didn'y know about this show before and started watching it about three months ago. I just finnished watching the series finale yesterday and i can honestly say that i have never connected more with a show or its characters as much as I have with aos. I myself loved season one and it did a beautiful job of defining the characters and setting up major plotlines. I honestly feel people were extremely quick to judge the first season and pretty impatient which led them to miss out on an amazing show. I wish I could've been there right from the start. I found the first season to be a major success just on my first time viewing it and honestly don't understand where the people saying it had a seemingly rocky start are coming from.
@@iramujral223 There were things in season 1 I HATED on watch 1 that made perfect sense afterward. Like take the episode where they encounter the Asgardian. They tell Ward 'Don't take off your ear plugs' and the first thing he does is take them off. Then there was what appeared to be this messy love triangle plot injected. It was almost the point I gave up on the show, screaming "How could Ward be such an idiot." In HINDSIGHT, that episode plays entirely differently. Ward intentionally took those plugs off to make contact. He was always just using May and psycho-obsessed with Skye and there was no love triangle, really. Every "stupid" thing he did was absolutely apart of his mission objective and not stupid at all. And I love it. It's the rare moment in TV where a future event can turn what seemed like a poorly written episode into a great, pivotal episode in retrospect for anyone who stuck with it. PS: I also hated how they did goodie-two shoe stuff like 'Yeah let's shoot alien tech into the sun, we're not ready' but LOVED that aspect when it was revealed they were lying about doing that and actually stockpiling the stuff in a Hydra armory. So good, but rough going on a first watch. ED: What also hurt it's season 1 reputation was the release schedule. It was a mess. 2 episodes, 3 week break, 1 episode, 2 week break, 3 episodes 2 week break, etc. They were stalling to sync it to Winter Soldier, and as a result things like this took MONTHS to play out in realtime and reveal why a lot of things that happened, happened. On a binge, I suspect they're not nearly the problem they were at the time.
@@BlazingOwnager nice detail in that episode by the way, Ward tries to shoot May AFTER the Asgardian's control was lifted so he had an excuse to kill her and nobody would blame him and he could continue to infiltrate the team. Brilliant writing move which only becomes apparent on a re-watch.
@@TabalugaDragon The levels of foreshadowing in the first season were great. It's one of the few shows that entirely put out the clues you needed to figure out the twist but in such a way I've never met anyone who saw it coming.
I was only able to watch Agents Of Shield since Disney+ came out in the Uk but it had quickly became everything to me and although I wasn’t here since the beginning I love the show even more each and every episode I watch

this show literally saved me, in a bad, bad moment of my life, and i would just say thanks to all agents of S.H.I.E.L.D cast, to producers, to all the staff who worked for this show.I love you too guys.
My favorite moment from the show is when Coulson first showed up and said "Welcome to level seven." I figured the show would be amazing and lengthy (hopefully), but I had no idea just how far the show could (and would) expand and I truly admire the cast and crew for it. To the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., I thought it best to end this with a GOT quote: _"And now their watch has ended."_
Agent of Shield Ending: The GoT D&D Remix. Daisy is revived but an alarm clock really pisses her off so she begins systematically quaking apart every nation on Earth and gets stabbed by Sousa. She kinda forgot about him. The End.
@@BlazingOwnager Seriously, though, I found the alarm clock bit to be hilarious, though I'd understand the feeling of waking up to that on a Monday morning.
Uff, naming ONE favorite moment? There's been so many along the way. I guess I have to say every single time Ian (Fitz) was on screen, because his range and emoting is amazing (not to discredit the rest of the cast's many brilliant moments). The guy deserves much more recognition than he's received. And while we've all cursed the writers at one point or another for how they chose to move the story forward, they gave us something very rare in television: real character arcs and development, went further than archetypes and "winning formulas" that bore after seasons of repetition. I would have happily watched seasons that were twice as long, whether secret bonus missions of Team Bus to return to during later seasons to relive the innocence of their early days, a full season of the Framework or just more time to delve into the many interesting minor characters... SHIELD will be missed.
OK but Jed Whedon's shirt is everything! Thank you agents of shield writers and cast for making the last few years of my life better just for being in it! I'll miss this show dearly!
From Season 1 Ep. 1 til Season 7 Series Finale, what a ride, one that I would gladly watch again and enjoy again. The depth and how the show matured into what it is today was an incredible journey. Thank you, from a Fan.
Already done this so many times I've lost count. At least once per season is the way to go. This series has so much going on and such intertwined stories and arcs.
“This is gonna make me cry” Well guess what? You made us all cry!!!😭😭😭 I’m gonna miss this show so much... I’ve been watching it since it was released. I love all you guys!😘
You can mostly blame ABC for that because they do not promote the heck out of shows unless it’s a Shonda Rhimes show. They did it with the show forever and agents of shield and to appoint Galavant got the same treatment to same with once upon a time.
@@Banestudent21 If they had a super-powered lead character from the start, they would have kept most of the audience and hype. Avengers had just come out and the audiences were hungry for it.
They didn't want to promote it. There was a huge rift between the movie and TV divisions of Marvel almost from the beginning. The movies refused to acknowledge the shows and eventually did everything they could to keep movie plots secret from the show-runners to keep the TV writers from connecting to much to the MCU. The MCU crew had all the power and did everything they could to keep it that way by refusing to play nice with the TV division. Now that its all under one umbrella, hopefully we'll see some changes. And just maybe, with enough fan support and demand, this cast and crew with get the full inclusion into the MCU it so richly deserves.
Shout out to day 1's who stuck with the show and appreciated how great this show really was. To those who missed out on this journey in real time, I feel sorry for you.

I looked past the crazy plot lines and totally insane stories and realised that this show is so much more than a show about superheroes and amazing out of the mind technology. it was quite literally a show about family and friends, and the lengths that you would go to protect and care for them. It was also about getting up and going again and again, no matter how many times you get knocked down, there would always be someone to pick you up and look after you, even when you thought that it wasn't worth it. Thanks for the amazing ride. Maybe one day The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D will again come to our screens for a family reunion, that would be awesome.

Why did Marvel do this to us?!They gave us characters we fell in love with and then took them from us.These people will forever be in my heart.
They ended it, and thankfully not cancelled it in the middle of an interesting twist.

I dont even think about Game of Thrones anymore, but I will watch AOS many more times.
@@loganxman Yep. Knowing what a wet fart GoT goes out on makes rewatching it almost impossible. AoS on the other hand got a great finale, with the fates of all the characters feeling earned (even the great lost Enoch) and great.
Game of thrones and the 100 “I’m looking at you’’
@Alejandra H same but that last season was horrible the whole transcendence thing was lazy and Bellamy’s death was bs

One of the best MCU stories ever told and always will be. Even if not part of the Infinity Saga phases.
It was almost the point I gave up on the show, screaming "How could Ward be such an idiot."
In HINDSIGHT, that episode plays entirely differently.

The biggest mistake was they didn't promote it like other MCU movies
You can mostly blame ABC for that because they do not promote the heck out of shows unless it’s a Shonda Rhimes show. They did it with the show forever and agents of shield and to appoint Galavant got the same treatment to same with once upon a time.
The show didn't deserve it, they promoted the hell outta season one....and AOS lost most of it's viewers that yr
Knightfall182 and it’s a shame because the show took awhile to find its feet but after season 1 it became really good
@@Banestudent21 If they had a super-powered lead character from the start, they would have kept most of the audience and hype.

I'm not usually into these types of shows, but I'm glad that I decided to watch a few episodes and see what it was like. I'm really glad that I did because I instantly connected to these amazing characters that you created.
Goodbye Thanks for the memories will miss you 😢😢😢
This last episode is going to break my heart . Thank you guys !!!!
My favorite moment: The ending of the season 4 episode where everyone is suddenly in the Framework and the Moody Blues is playing while the camera pans out on May as a Hydra agent on the balcony at the Triskelion.
One of my favorite moment was when Daisy and Cal spoke just before they erased his memories. Just being father and daughter.
My favorite moment of the show is when Daisy was recovering from Hive's sway, and Mack comes into the cell and forgives her for everything. I can't watch that scene without crying.
god this show was my lifeblood as soon as I found it and I wish I could watch it again for the first time
Coulson is probably the MCU character with the most screen time lmao. Gotta love that beast of a character.
The whole AoS cast has the most screen time in the mcu
in fact, he is.
When this all ends, I'm gonna cry for like a week
Where is Enoch Joel stoffer I want to say goodbye to him I want him to say goodbye to me :-(
He was assigned to another planet...
SPOILERS for S7
He already did a couple episodes ago.... 😭😭😭
@@richardmartinez5040 maybe be best to tag what ep you're spoiling for
@@cait812 you right
This show was such a huge part of my childhood. I remember watching it with my mom and waiting for the next episode week to week. And I remember watching the finale 4 years ago and just being so sad it was over. I just always get so emotional when a show that has meant so much to me comes to an end. I guess i just want to say, this show has meant the world to me, and even if my mom and I don't always get along, we'll always have it. So thank you
I watched every single episode of this show, and like many said, I enjoyed it for the idea that normal people showing up to work can change the world. Normal people experience miraculous changes and they come from all walks of life. The presence of strong women, mixed raced characters, people with Hispanic ancestry, black ancestry, white ancestry, asian ancestry... man I love watching this show, and this last season has been so wonderful to watch so stylized and wonderfully written. I’m so unhappy especially after such a great season. Thank you for your passion actors, writers.... thank you thank you ... for putting so much into this project. For giving heroes, villains, ethics a multitude is sides. Thank you student coordinators and visual effects artists! Thank you for this optimistic and amazing show! Sorry it is ending!
My heart is full, but boy does it feel so much pain with this show ending. 😭
Best moment was I think Season one when Ward and Coulson were trying to use the Holo thing 😂😂
I can’t handle this 😢
The fact that Agents of Shield is over still hasn't sunk in yet
Just watched the final ep. Didn't know it was possible to be so happy and so sad at the same time.
I love all of you. Thank you so much. This show has been a constant in my life.
I also really really liked legion, but you guys have been a part of my life for at least 5 years (I binged the first 3 or 4 seasons), it does almost make me cry that it's over.
The development of the show and the characters was so great that watching these old clips is almost unrecognizable. I feel much the same way when looking back at other times of my life, and so I thank you for being able to bring not only life to a show, but also almost make it seem like an entire life in itself.
It seemed like something greater than life that could never end. But now that like all things it has, thank you.
I'll miss this show.
Mack just makes me cry. I feel like his family 😢
Anyone who says they dont watch AOS either genuinely never heard of it because they were in a 8 year coma or are in denial
Most fans don't watch AOS, based on the numbers
But I dont know a single AOS watcher who didnt absolutely love it and is heartbroken its ending
@@TonyKalashnikov If you're still watching AOS by this point and in that bracket of 1M loyal viewers... obviously you would be heartbroken its ending. You could say the same about the tiny amount of Arrow fans by it's finale
@@Knightfall182 Based on the numbers, AoS is way more popular than life numbers alone indicate. When Disney Plus launched in Europe, it became immediately the most watched show of them all, the second most watched property directly after Endgame. There is also a reason why there is such a huge reaction community surrounding the show.
Tell me where I can watch this series in India? We don't have abc network here.
Thank you so much for the memories.
THANK YOU, those who participated in the creation of this wonderful world of the S.H.I.E.L.D ... Thank you for the opportunity to become a part of this large family .. And thank you for this sincere farewell, for this video.
