Hey Mike, thank you for that GREAT video update! 2 quick questions: (i) can attendees change the language for captions for themselves? and (ii) How do I keep all three views open - participants, polls, and chat? (without having to toggle all the time)? Constant toggling makes it harder to keep up with fast-flowing information.

Hi Mike, I really enjoy your videos. One area that I think is not clear is the recording of Teams Meetings to use as content for edited videos. I work as a communication manager and often need to record video interviews using Teams. I was wondering if you had any tips or tricks for that process. As an example…can I set up to record one person when two people have their cameras on. I find it's easier to interview someone if they can see me on the screen to talk to.
I also think MS could do some improvement in the tool specifically for this process, especially as the future of work is most likely a hybrid model of in-office and working remotely. A cool feature would be some kind of teleprompter functionality. Thanks!!!

Two things:
First, I can't get the "sync up meeting" line (dark blue) when editing my meeting. Any suggestions to what I am doing wrong?
Second, I would love to see the whiteboard with an option to get the handwritten notes to stick to the sticky note when scaling them up or down. The handwritten text do not scale together with the sticky notes in the various templates.

Great tips!! One thing is not clear that in breakout rooms the names of the participants are not showing in the tracking list. Do we need to add manually the attendees or is thr a way the names show.
Hi Mike thanks for the great tips! I usually have a problem when presenting a PPT and need to see the questions being posted in the chat area. How can I do this ? I usually have someone following the chat and telling me if any questions have been posted as in presenter mode I cannot see the chat area.

The new white board is amazing but it is missing one crucial and simple feature. Miro allows to toggle between a scroll and zoom only feature. This keeps you from accidentally moving objects or messing something up if you just want to view. Does white board have this or is it coming?

Thanks a lot for this update. Do you have any info (or suggest where to look for) of what functions are available to someone with presenter's rights? Quite often, in organizations someone else organizes the meeting, but the actual meeting is lead by another person. As far as I understand, MS Teams still doesn't have the co-host feature where you can assign full rights to someone else.

The biggest issue i have with half of this is the fact its not available in scheduled meetings and only available in ADHOC ones. I would love to use the poles and Q&A things in my classes but since I have them booked in advance I can not add the APP Forms or Q&A to the meeting

Mike, I just found your channel and love the info you are providing. I want to use the word cloud poll for an upcoming meeting, but it is not an option on my government laptop. Do you know if there is a restriction on this feature for the government cloud?

Hi, during screen sharing , how do we make partipants window appear while presenting ? not only Power point but also excel or any files
I’ve always run into an issue with presenting PowerPoint in Teams. I frequently need to leave the PowerPoint during class, to demonstrate something in another application or to have a class discussion where I can see student’s faces, etc… I have issues trying to get back into the PowerPoint when doing so with in Teams. If I try to get back into it they way I initially started the PowerPoint, I get an error message that says a file of the same name has already been uploaded. To get around this, I usually just run PowerPoint in a window, and share my screen so I can quickly swap between things. But I would really like to make better use of the Teams/PowerPoint integration.

We don't seem to have a Team Calendar and its not listed in the available Apps, so is this an update perhaps that we haven't installed ?
Q&A app question: you mentioned the organizer has access to publishing, etc. Will presenters have access to publish? Or, maybe the better question would be, can there be multiple organizers?
Very good video introducing a lot of useful hacks for users. I wondered if the organiser can talk to one of the participants without disturbing the other participants in the same meeting room?

Still no ability to turn off self-view during a VC? I use it prior to the start to ensure lighting and framing is correct, but hate having it on during VCs. As it is the bottom right hand corner, I tapa a card over to to block it.
Are all of these features visible to users logged in to the meeting as a guest? Are Guest users able to interact with features such as Whiteboard? Are the features all available to users that access the meeting via web browser vs. Teams app?

Yes, make sure your attendees are set to the ”attendee” role
Classroom meetings are set up in channels, why is there still no ability to add apps to channel meetings? Using Q&A and Forms in live meeting is not available. Did I miss something?

Well, it must DEPEND. When a co sets up an interview with me, I often have NO options but to show the inside of my home. Sometimes the blur option is available. It must be a controlled feature.
Hi Mike! I've noticed several participants in your meetings have their personal pronouns listed next to their name, for example at 15:14. Is there a way for users to add this without changing their profile name?
I believe this is done through their corporate account labels

The "team" at TEAMS needs to fix their email invites. They don't specify what timezone the meeting invite is for. MAJOR problem. So the app tries to guess what timezone each person is on, and it taylors it to that person. So invites look different for different timezones. But it guesses WRONG, so you will get a time, but no timezone. This causes major confusion and people showing up and hour early or an hour late for a meeting. So all this talking about TEAMS is really worthless until we solve the problem of knowing what time a meeting actually starts!
