@Curlbellaa what would you recommend as an alternative humectant for Glycerine in avoidance of possible losing moisture under dry climate conditions? The same goes for aloe vera - would you decrease the concentration by incorporating more water or would you completely remove it?

Would love to hear why you prefer serums over oils.

Can this serum be used on children?

It could, but personally due to the which hazel I would not use it too often, it can irritate the scalp easily especially on children. The ordinary has a scalp serum with hyaluronic acid which is perfectly suitable for children and cheaper as well! Way more gentle on the scalp.

@@Curlbellaa Thank you. I think that would be a brilliant idea with the Hyaluronic Acid serum. I wonder whether you would be able to advise me on how to heal my daughter’s scalp. She went on holiday to her grandma’s place and I guess her grandma didn’t like her hairstyle (I keep her styles simple and tight free to avoid alopecia). So she had someone inexperienced in dealing with natural hair handle her hair and put it in a new style. When I removed the style to wash her hair I noticed so much breakage on the crown of her head and she has become super tender headed. She cried even when I was gently finger detangling 😔
