I knew nothing about Shōgun, I'm intrigued. The Proposal sounds so fun! Very well-expresssed concerning Poor Things, I don't know if I'll ever get around to watching it, but I thought you made your case well and succinctly. I love that you're continuing to include books in your videos, my vote is to not stop! It sounds like WIldfire ignored how things would obviously happen in reality to make the plot happen and for the sake of attempting to invoke cute happy feels. I don't know if I'll ever get around to Ice Breaker, popularity doesn't necessarily mean much to me. I know there is *sometimes* correction between popularity and quality, there are lots of examples of that. But, for instance, The Spanish Love Deception is a smash hit, few books are more popular in the kindle or the booktok world than it, and according to A Clockwork Reader it's pretty awful. Similar Story with The Fourth Wing. All the best!
My favorite tv show I watched in March: Young Royals season 3, I'm still a crying mess thinking about it 🥲 Fave movie: didn't watch a lot of good ones but stand out was Beast with Jessie Buckley, crazyyyy Fave book: The Invocations by Krystal Sutherland. Seems like a month of unhinged girlies haha
I watched 34 titles in March (including 8 short films). I can easily pick a top 2 which are Bottoms and Poor Things! I have quite a long 'review' on my Letterboxd if you wanted to hear some specific thoughts on Poor Things. Omg I don't think I got like any reading done in March. I was deep in my reorganization of my books and movies and did not want stacks and scatterings of stuff all over my floors for an extended period of time. But this weekend I'm going to try to focus on finishing The Talented Mr. Ripley by Patricia Highsmith and Chocolat by Joanne Harris. Edit: oh, I did listen to music while organizing and cleaning. Red Velvet is going to be my number 1 artist on Spotify this year I already know 😄 ❤

I completely understand Poor Things not being for everyone, but I’m sorry. It’s basically just a better Barbie in pretty much every way. Lol
I love that you had that experience with it, I just wasn’t as enthralled with it as a lot of other people were. Thanks for watching!
