I've said it before, but I'll say it again, the father/son relationship that Tom and his dad have, is a big part of why I watch the channel. It's not always sunshine and roses, but it's real and the respect they have for each other is obvious, so is how proud he is of Tom, lovely to hear but it's so obvious watching the videos
Well said
Absolutely agree, I wish I'd had as good a business relationship with my father, unfortunately it wasn't the case so I left the business.
So nice
Farmers and Truck drivers are the heart and soul of our country. Both seriously under valued. The long lonely hours they work is so under estimated by the whole of the country.
Sorry we couldn’t see it running but this weather is no joke at the moment… it’s only February but wow 🤦♂️
Dads nice comments at the end were great and will update you with all the changes hopefully Sunday 🤞
Thanks for watching as always and Hope you all enjoy the video ☺️👍
Did you ever do a follow up on the different additive Dad sprayed in patterns? I don't remember one.
Weather is crazy, I've just done first cut in the garden this week. Never had the lawnmower out in February before.
Your dad and you with your family spirit is just heart warming and to see how good and well you all take care of each others.
@@lemonladyYT we are going to do soil test so the videos abit behind 🤦♂️
Simon is correct,,,Tom will need to use cameras on a wider mower because he is always doing 5 things at the same time and we know danger never takes a day off. Love Father showing his pride in his son for all the world to see. Does the heart good.
Will be interesting to see if that mower was worth building.
@@loveminis31 we are about to find out! 😬
You never know Tom with yours & Dads personalities & skills you might just wake this country up to how important farming is, you're doing a cracking job & from a total non farmer I learn so much watching your videos. Enjoy the new 'toy' when it comes round to cutting time !
Unless you have lived on a farm, you have no idea what goes on behind the lines. Your videos show the good, new equipment and friends, and the bad, repairing broken equipment, that you have to deal with daily. Working in miserable weather, up to your knees in poo, up at 4 or 5 in the morning living on 6 hours of sleep 7 days a week, to keep people supplied with milk products. It was a hard job but rewarding. Thanks for the great memories I have forgotten about. Not to mention the advancements in the equipment.😮. Your dad is a great supporter to you.
I Love. the Ginger . Guy!!!!! I'm so glad he said how proud he was of you because you can really see it when you have conversations. I can't wait for the first cut, although one of my favorite things is the tedding which, as I understand, you won't need to do any more. Looking forward to Friday AND Sunday!!! Love to Jo and Harvey!!!!!
Hi Tom, your dad is spot on, I work as a tech for a local utility company and a lot of my work involves farms especially in Cumbria. If it's offered I always take the time to have a brew and a chat especially on the remote farms as I'm conscious I may be the first person they have seen in days if not weeks. Cheers K.
lol. “I feel like I’ve got poo on my face!”. Tom you are so honest in these videos and work so hard! That’s what we love about you! Love your talk with dad at the end. So proud of his son!!!
95% ❤ respect the warrior he comes from a generation where talking wasn't done and taking the time to tell his son how proud he is of him is amazing to see. You could see Tom's appreciation. Love watching your videos much respect and one day I'll drive the 8 hours to support the farm shop. Even better if you would consider some more subtly branded merch, hoodie with a small logo.
very proud father expressing a public admission toward son great relationship thank you dad for recognizing Tom and his work 👍
I mow without a conditioner and it's never been a problem. Biggest worry with conditioned grass is if the contractors delayed for pick up the grass dries out too much.
Good choice in my opinion
Awww so sweet at the end with your dad saying he's proud of you 🥹
Your Dads comments at the end man 🥺. He’s so proud of you! Keep up the amazing work everyone!
Thank you to all the wonderful farmers out there! We ❤ you!
Well done Tom, Its very true, I call on farms nearly every day with my job and it’s amazing how many farmers say it’s nice to see someone as it’s very rare you see anyone at all. Keep up the great work.
Your Dad is right there are plenty of people on lonely farms half way up a hill. The winter is a hard time for them.
A bit of throat-wobbler from Tom at the end - a great moment for any son, and its always nice to see!
A conditioner is a must. Leaves the grass easier rowed up when you’re not tedding it. Your lucky to get demos very little demo near me
The bloody TV is drip feeding the general public in all sorts of ways Tom, that’s why if it’s being edited it’s not worth doing. Love the front mounted mower 👌🏻👏🏻
Golly your Dads comments were really emotional. Glad he is willing to express his feelings. You should feel very exceptionally proud. As far as the mower, has there ever been a Malone demo of anything leave the farm, nope. Looking forwards to see it in action.
I love the complete rig it looks beautiful but the icing on the cake is the cameras real safe factor much appreciated cheers Declan hope all is well bro 👍🙏👍👍
It looks like a tea party with the ladies, chatting and chatting again, I ask for not so much talking but going with that thing, shows some action. 🤣😎
Your telling me! I need to get in a feild 🙈
To Tom & your father! I realy like you take care of the values to be on RUclips gives you! Not every thing is inner Ten, but give you the chanse against most of your compedding farms! I will put you & your father to the category quiet smart! Thats 1 reason I like to follow you at the farm! Yours Peter Eriksson Sweden Europe 😅😅😅!
Tom you are so lucky to have your dad with you every day. Enjoy .
Conditioner absolute must on my farm nowadays. If first cut isnt to late and the weather is good everything gets mowed with conditioner and swathed after one day and chopped right away. Really no need to tedd it out.
You will get less loss in the field due to tedding it when its already drying out.
Im pretty sure you will notice a difference!
Love that!! Great comments from your dad. I bet it s a really nice moment for you to hear your dad say hes proud of you,
The conditioner lifts it up off the ground, easier shook and easier raked without digging deep and bringing in clay 👌🏻 won’t block up as easy as a whole bar in heavy grass
God bless malone for them cameras. although I love looking at these farming vids .. but being a motorbike user I dispise these things on the front of tractors .. twice young lads pulled out in front of me and I had to lock on to stop .. same excuse, they couldn't see out by a hedge as they were so far back in the tractor. , thank god for putting a camera on these things ... absolutely stupid not to have them on. Sorry for the rant but you do a great job so have fun with the mower
Respect to all farmers they don't get enough praise for what they do
Well done tom ,you should be really proud
I’m glad I’m not the only one who is slightly uneasy when dad says he’s proud, doesn’t happen very often my end! 😂
Correct Tom those ropes to stretch that’s part of the Way they pull machinery out you don’t have to replace them every 12 months
Great piece on the BBC Tom as your Dad said. I thought he was going to tear up some man is the ginger warrior. Take care
That’s a fantastic piece of kit.
If you don't follow the party line, they just censor your voice. I agree Tom. If they’d dredge those channels, you’d not have flooding.
I'm always 100% when I watch you Tom. You are always so happy and enthusiastic about your future, and that's very contagious 🚜🚜🚜
i love listening to your dad talking if any television company make a series about farming they need to get your dad to present it it would be fantastic to watch and listen to
Full marks to Malone for having absolute confidence in their people and their products 🙌 well done!
Tom,
Your objective evaluation of equipment like this is really cool to see because most farm equipment is "generational" in many cases😅😂🤣👍
The ginger guy Onpoint is always and we always know that he’s proud of you and everything that you’ve done for the farm the family even the times when you don’t listen to him and he hast to tell you he was writing you were wrong he still proud of you. Keep up the good work looking forward to Friday and Sunday video. Happy cows everybody. Be well be you
We always had a mower with conditioner on it. We didn't have a tedder we just had a rake . You're probably using the same amount of fuel because you have to use a tedder then take it before it gets baled.
When you forget what day it is and bam! There is a video from Tom because it's Tuesday!
Your dad is a star
Feeling a strong 95% thank you Tom! Don’t forget Olly’s baler twine campaign!! British farming is hanging by a thread!
Tom although I haven't heard what you said i do know farming is lonely my dad died last September he was the Head man on the farm the one you could always turn to for advice but now he is not there it's changed so much so my mam and brother and me have a void that can't be filled that is why I live for your videos and love watching you and your dad and the bond you have and the inspiration you are to others and long continue your success I some day would love to come and meet you if that were ever possible great video as always
Thank you Tom and guy with the ginger moustache for being soo nice when we saw you yesterday
BBC Breakfast Live TV. You are a great ambassador for the farming community Tom. Well done
Thanks Archie, Really nice for you to say :D
Very well said Andrew. 👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧
Im excited to see this "baby" running on first cut. Was so so nice to hear the mighty ginge praise you tom father and son moment right there ❤
So am I!!
Ah I think the ginger guy is awesome😊 and congratulations on being in the BBC Tom 😊
My dad says everything you said was spot on bbc and everyone was listening should be very proud
Absolute top stuff Tom..
Awesome big changes coming up!!!!
Loving the videos!
Value that Tom. Like me own auld lad, they won’t be around forever. That was lovely for him to say. I’m sure it meant a lot.
Great video from start to finish 👌🏻😍
Lovely bit of kit that Tom.
Congrats on the mower Tom!
Great video Tom
Very proud of you my brother much love as always 💙
As always... I love watching your videos
No grease on the front link pins, classic dairy farmer
Dairy Farmer here.... What is "Grease" 😂
Great mower can’t wait to see it in action
Well said Andrew and top job Tom
Totally love the ginger guy. What a great dad you have
Hard to beat the conditioner 👌🏼
Fantastic as always and keeping it real , greatest respect to you all 👍
Well done Tom, dad and all the team. Stay well and thank you. Xx😊
Great video Tom and nicely said on Sunday and spot on by your dad 👏👏👍👍
Super vlog Tom...yes your blessed in many ways but your Dad and yourself have a great partnership that comes from TALKING ..and LISTENING...Listening is just as important as TALKING...Im looking forward to seeing the new mower in action...and now would be a good time to Mark the manhole covers just in case. Enjoy testing the new Malone ..
Aww Tom ur amazing
Looks like that mower will be fun to run can't wait to see it in action
Great TV interview Tom. One very proud Father ❤❤
Optional extra😂 you’d like to think it’ll come standard being safety etc. Top video TP
Well ware! So happy for you with your new arrival! What a difference this will make to your enterprise!! I can not wait to see it running!!
Watching your videos always starts my day off nicely. Best wishes to your family from New Zealand.
Tom. Great vid. You and your father exude ag passion. Keep it up. ❤
Man! Youre moving up in the World, Tom!
Wish so bad to meet you some day, have a small tour of the farm an all.
Much love from Sweden!
A very proud father ginger warrior.
Amazing Tom 👍
Great video Tom, nice looking machine the cameras are a good thing now you can see those man hole covers. The new machine and the new tractor look great togather. Safety on the farm is the number one thing Father is so right taking your time and be safe!
Kudos for trying to Break the Narrative Tom! Unfortunately Media is not unbiased Reporting, that was always a Myth. They have to put forward the Agenda of those Running them, everything is Scripted. Nice Job Ginger honouring Tom. Very Cool!!!
great video and very optimistic that you will get onto land relatively soon with a mower without dissapearing out of sight in the mud ,only saying that because most farmers like a bit of sarcastic comedy
Go green & red👍👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂
Another great video, more wisdom from your dad.
Without farmer's we'd starve ...
Another great video Tom. Love the ginger warrior and bang on with what he said, very good news piece you did Tom. Sending love to you and family and glad to see Joanne getting strong and better each day. Plus what on earth are you feeding your son, he is really growing up ❤
Go green Tom 😊
I am now after seeing your video 100% your videos make my day keep them coming and keep inspiring young farmers like myself 😁😁
Looking forward to seeing the results of the none conditioner mower compared to the mower conditioner. I have the perception that Malone kit is hard to beat and they do their homework prior to going into full production on a product. As a Dad myself nice to hear those comments and the fact you are sending out help and support to other farmers who are struggling and giving them heads up on the yellow wellies scheme. Wishing Jo and Harvey and yourself the best and yourself a good undisturbed nights sleep now and again.
Another great video Tom , and what a fantastic dad you have and so very proud of you. I watched you on the red sofa on BBC television and what all you farmer's do to feed us all year, working very long hours in all weather conditions. I just wished that the supermarkets paid you a proper price for the milk you produce, I would pay extra for my milk because I think you should be able to make a profit.
Tom I was using mower with a conditioner in the 1980s and 90s great bit of kit cheers from Scotland
I Watch your videos from hearing canada Always very enjoyable 95% today
Advice from someone working with conditioner mowers for 25year, a conditioner with help with drying but.... Will never be as good as a tedder, u will still have to shake it, you will have to lower the conditioner part way to get the grass to hit the back gates enough to narrow it in-between your wheels, a front mower is no good for doing the first few runs around the outside more so at the corners, the tractor doesn't travel where the front cut going around the corner, you can do it but you have to cut the corners square, straight out of the grass ,reverse back around and straight back in, remember these tips & ull be grand👍👍👍
First lap round the field run anti clockwise with back mower closest to the hedge, then when you turn for the corners your going left and not missing any grass between the two mowers
we use a Mower Conditioner on grasses and alfalfa with stems to make it bale easier and dry quicker before baling.
👀🙄🐾👍 Great video Good to see Andrew and hear his comments and complements about you Tom
With the conditioner start it off at 1/2 and go from their once you have used it you won't want to give it back
Looks very futuristic
I like the idea of having cameras at the front so that you don’t crash at a junction
Never alone with a Malone!
Tom with a conditioning mower tedding isn’t as necessary. In a wet year you will have less soil contamination because plain mower s leave grass harder to ted, rake, and harder on the chopper. A raked sward after a conditioner will feed smoother into the chopper
75% - my foster pooch has found a wonderful new home and I'm gonna miss her! 😥
Morning Tom
what a family especillay the ginger guy
You’ll love the conditioner on the front it pulls the grass through on post mowed overlaps and corners and prevents blockages, it will also dry quicker and not stick to ground
