Jonathan's reaction to that part was literally the same reaction as mine the first time. And every subsequent time I've heard it, it's like I enter a trance when I hear it. It's amazing how ethereal it sounds, using very traditional grounded and earth based instruments and vocals. Amazing

Absolutely LOVE this song. I can't believe this wasn't on the original release of Endless Summer which is by the way my favorite The Midnight album. This song is stunning. The ambience, the atmosphere, softness, DAT SAX. And wow how about Tim's vocals. I thought he was great on Synthetic but my god this is phenomenal. He should sing on more songs in the future. He's really good. Comet has immediately shot toward the top of favorite Midnight songs to date. What a gem.

I'm less impressed with them "re-releasing" the song Bend. Great song don't get me wrong but its been available for 3 or 4 years now. I'm craving new material so badly. Why I'm all over this song Comet. So damn good. To think they held onto this for 5 years.

It never ceases to blow my mind that this isn’t the stuff that’s popular on the radio. Not that I need it to be, but some of the nonsense that is on the radio doesn’t come anywhere close to how good this song/the midnight are.

I bought the cd that has the two bonus tracks and I love it, Tim on comet it’s simple amazing, what @ great voice he has, fits perfectly in the song and the song Bend is Tyler voice at its best, Beautifull melancholic song, brings me the memories of the best years of my life in the eighties when I was a child almost a preteen ❤️

Loving your channel Jonathan. I arrived quite late to the synthwave genre in the last year or so, being from Scotland it’s sadly not as big as it is over in the States so can be quite hard to connect locally with fans. The Midnight were one of the 1st I had recommended to me and it’s great.

@@JonathanBelle denver show was amazing, the venue was in this old building called The Gothic Theatre. It was small but made the show more intimate and personal. I didn’t know much about Jupiter Winter but they opened up for Tim and Tyler, then revealed they were part of the band. Lelia Broussard from Jupiter Winter has an amazing voice. Check out Jupiter Winter - Lifetime. They absolutely slayed Neon Medusa, surreal!
