The Ringing of the Bell ceremony at Houston arson investigator Lemuel Bruce's funeral

The tradition of ringing a bell at a firefighter's funeral is an age old tradition. A bell would ring at the beginning and end of a shift and to alert firefighters of an emergency. After the call, when the emergency was over, the bell would again ring.

I was at this funeral. yes I cried because a brother was lost and the brotherhood never forgets. Amazing Grace on the pipes and drums get me every time.
