It's tough when the people who should support you the most only take notice after your success. But your determination and hard work speak volumes! I'm glad you found your moment to shine-keep thriving and surrounding yourself with people who truly appreciate you for who you are.
I will say this, ADHD has not been easy to live with, but you just, adapt and overcome. We are our own worst enemy. my parents were pretty dang supportive, but there were people in my family who didn't think I would amount to anything. I'm doing good now and have achieved quite a bit, but I would say that I am always humble and always learning. Never give up and I'm very appreciative to those who always were there and never gave up, like my wonderful mom and sorely missed grandparents
I suspect that the sister was working on behalf of the parents, trying to get that little nudge back into his life, because he's REALLY successful, and they want to take advantage of that by crowing about how they've always supported him, but they can't until he is under their control again.
I think Reddits biggest aid might be the feeling of support it can give to people going through something. Reddit is full of nasty trolls, but it also has a huge number of people who HAVE been through the same garbage, and having a group that shares your experience makes a big difference.
These videos are so exhausting to listen to, they all end the same way with some good will speech plus the story conveniently left out the ending of the lawsuit.
A new twist is the fact that the op kept posting to reddit, though. Definitely a new trope, although they didn't offer to post any of the links to these supposed posts.
This story completely glazed over the lawsuit and who won. This is definitely a fake AI story. I just listened to one exactly like it right before watching this video.

The responses are always overwhelming 😂😂😂😂😂
I noticed that. Very common word being used across ALL these posts.
"the response was overwhelming" is said at least 5 times in every video on this channel I'm pretty sure.

The way your family tried to rewrite history after your success is frustrating yet, sadly, common in similar situations

These stories are all the same. You just change the people around.😅
Agreed
Human behaviour, specially.around money, is pretty predictable anyways.
...and yet you keep reading them...
@kevinmihalko503 , Hay touche',lol. I think I stick around because I know there has to be a different type of story sooner or later.
What happened to the lawsuit? 🤨🤨🤨🤨
AI forgot 😂
Considering the "fallout" OP probably won.
Did he get inheritance back ❓🤷🏽🤷🏽♀️ did I miss it 💔
no i think the ai forgot to write the end of the lawsuit
Yes, OP. Just prove them wrong.
Therapy is only normal in the USA....lol
You are right! The stories always push therapy. Just let's us know who writes these stories. Lol
@@Dana-ld4wf probably a therapist!
It's not always the case that people with ADHD struggle with academics. I did great in college.
These stories are quite good to listen to.

@@Black_Daniels679 i doubt the reddit posts exist cause most stories are AI generated.
These stories are too repetitive, yet, sadly, in real life, such parents and folks have selective memory, and refuse to take any accountability.
Nothing motivates someone like spite
Good god this story is so dumb, sounds like a dozen other stories.
Always therapists …. No one have a spine these days
This is a repeat of the previous story.

I don’t care for this particular ai voice for these stories. Just doesn’t quite fit, imho.
