The lock button enables you to fine tune a screw to manually tighten the last half turn in something delicate. I love that you're teaching your toddler how to use real tools, my children very many years ago, had to manage with plastic toy ones that did/undid big plastic screws/bolts, ultimately unsatisfying. If these had been around back then, they'd have loved them :). Now adult, they have fine collections of real tools, and my daughter loves her DeWalt drill...
@@jesshothersall haha love your comment. Yes if I could avoid the lawsuits I’d do so much more of this!! So much fun to be had learning together. And thanks for the tip. I realised I did this without realising it was a feature / by design. Overthinking it haha!
I was actually looking for a cordless screwdriver small enough for my toddler. This was the only review that matched my search spot-on! I'm also quite glad that I'm not the only parent who lets his children play with power tools 😅
‘Tamper’ stops trigger being accidentally pressed when lying against other tools in toolbox, which would leave you with flat battery at worst. Just took mine out tonight for first time in years. 🤘🏻
Nice little review, I have older version without usb connection, my question is where can I buy those screw bits to Drill adapter, the one you have in video ?? I want to use it as a small drill in a hard to reach areas.

Haha! Amazing. Glad I’m not the only person who thinks this is reasonable! Good luck. Be safe 😉
Thanks, I found this really helpful as I bought this by mistake thinking it was a drill!!!

@@JudePullen thank you so much for a quick reply.
I need to put up window blind. Will this do the job ? I’m looking to buy drill tool..
Probably not if you need to drill into stone or wall. You’d need a hammer drill for that. If you are not a regular DIYer I suggest you borrow not buy.
@@JudePullen ok ! Thanks so much!
From Where did you get the drill cover attachment??
Thanks
