What is the worst thing about Writing Manga Scripts? What is one tip that I am missing in the guide? And What Other tips would you like me to work on that I haven't! Also, Don't Forget to LIKE!
Action/Dialogue balance. Writing something that is a noir you have a lot of long dialogue exchanges and it can make the scene seem boring and slow. I'm not an illustrator so I'm not sure how to guide the artist. Other than body language and fiddling with objects in the room.
To me it’s accepting the fact that we can’t always have fun writing our story the way we want and that we actually have to sacrifice the pleasure and quality for quantity at some point. Like, the story can’t always take place in the circumstances you want or cover everything about the character you like, it’s always you have to turn around the plot to make it longer, add more filling characters with their stories, delay the progress of the main character’s story and growth etc etc…and at the same time as an author you have to still make it entertaining, which is to me the hardest part because if I get bored of something and don’t enjoy it, how can I be sure the readers will like it?
@@C0pium_understandable and deep I’ve been doing lots of research and finnaly found that you need script so I’ve done research but my problem is turning my small idea not and idea like a bases of a story into a script so I can draw it but if I rush things the pacing finna be terrible dookey😂.
Page [ number ] [ description of scene mood and environment ] Dialogue. E.g. Person 1: we need to cross the road. Person 2: no. Rule of thumb: 6 lines of dialogue to a page, and no more than 7 panels per page. Get a non friend/family member to read and review.
Hello thank u for this I still have more to learn bc i’m going to be writing my script and drawling my manga, most likely all by myself bc I’m scared to work with other people. but I have been working on the story it’s all in my head and now I’m putting ideas onto paper and I have a lot lol so I hope by watching more channels like yours and many others i can get where I want to be.
Ok I agree hahaha it’s better to use simple apps or programs for you to be able to focus on translating your ideas to your script instead of getting distracted by other non-related stuff. good luck y’all who’s working on their own webcomic!
(in my manga script) keep them wondering, what did that person do; did she use a _ or this? (it could have happened either way,, ).. (have a sfx of 2 things, keep the audience wondering...)
