Hi, Ive got issue with the safety lock on the nut.I dont have a clue how to bend it so I could unscrew the nut.Do you have any suggestions?Do I need to cut off those pins or the impact will do the job? thx
Il preface this I'm not a mechanic, just someone with no clue.... Its been long while since I did this but from memory I used a punch/ screwdriver with a hammer to hit out the steaked out part so the nut could be removed. I rattled off the nut AFTER removing the the locking function. Unsure what you mean on 'pinned'

Thx for answer.
I cannot bend this lock piece out, so I can unscrew the nut.
@@iDSMB1 just looked at the service manual, it says ' "unstake lock nut with drill or grinder"
108Nm on install 👍
@@nedt Thx man I will try.
Hello, what’s the torque specs for the bolts that hold the springs down?
I sold the bike, I did find my manual online.I can’t remember where.
Tightening this bolt just made the plates slide over eachother since there is no pressure on the plates on my cb450s
Awesome video thanks!
Does this work for taking off the old nut
Can't see why not, I cleared the tab out of the notch and then rattled it off.
