Frankly the BEST tutorial on PFB because it shows such a good close up of how to knit this.

How on earth did we knit before the Internet? I never would have figured this out by reading instructions. Thank you!

This was extremely helpful. You explained it so well and it was so easy to follow with the close up.

Even though I’m an English knitter I think this is a very clear explanation.Very helpful.

Thank you! Great explanation. I've been avoiding patterns that use this stitch because it seemed impossible....your explanation makes it easy-peasy!

I'm a beginner knitter, and I knitted a cowl that I love! Years later, I wanted to knit another one when I realized that that cowl had purl stitches on the front and back. I don't remember how I accomplished that ☺so I finally found a video explaining it. However, I don't remember doing this method, but at least I found one that will give me beautiful purls.

Very good tutorial! Having said that, I don’t think that it will become my favorite way to increase!

PFB is NOT my favorite, either. There are some cases where it is needed for a stitch pattern or when you're increasing on the wrong side of the work to mirror a KFB, but yeah, I avoid it when I can.

I’m struggling with doing the PF&B stitch so is there another stitch I can do That can replace the PF&B

I don't have a tutorial on it, but I would look up Make 1 Purl-wise. I think this could be a reasonable substitute.

Thank you for going slow enough for me to understand how to do this. So many people go so fast I can't even begin to follow, much less understand. Do you have a tutorial for KFB?

I do! ruclips.net/video/fgr8E60PytU/видео.html My knitting tutorial video quality has improved over the years (both in terms of content and resolution.) I try to take comments to heart to improve!
