Seriously you are the BEST teacher on the web. No one has ever explained that the bar leans R or L and that is how you know which one you are doing. I might actually remember this now. But if not, I know where to come to find out.

Picked up a WIP with M1R from a few years ago and couldn’t remember how to do it. Tried and made mistakes with the Make1. Looked for how to‘s, got more confused.
You not only explained it with the yarn on the right AND left hand (I’m team left hand, many YT creators are not), you also explained how NOT to do it so now I know why there are holes (yarn overs) in my knitting. This is just the best tutorial!
Now I gotta unravel those few rows and then I’ll restart with confidence!
    Thank you!

Thank you! Love your close up, lighing and very easy voice to listen to as you demenstrate.

The direction of the bar is so important and knitting into the back or the front makes the difference. Once again I learnt something new. Got an idea. This is a genius method for toe up socks. This video was so helpful! Now I really understand how it is to the left and to the right. I have one beanie project going on where it is important to make these just the right way. Thank you so much! :)

I am awakening my love for knitting after too many years. I find your videos outstanding. You explain not only how but WHY. I would love to know if you studied pedagogy because your explanations are so spot on!

Actually I was in the medical field. I think that experience of explaining complicated things to people over and over honed my teaching skills. Thank you very much. I love to teach about knitting. 🧶

What a superb little tutorial, Suzanne! You even demonstrate the Continental and English method for making these stitches. I have just subscribed to your channel and from now on will make "Knitting with Suzanne Bryan" my go-to channel for knitting advice. Ü
