I have been a huge Kiss and Alice fan for a very long time. These days, I find it’s a huge chore even listening to Kiss, as they take themselves way too seriously. I can listen to Alice any day
Maybe he didn't know who alice cooper was or he was reading a cue card that said Alice cooper and he added the miss out of habit. Transcription is that way sometimes. You hear a word and type it some other way
I was so waiting to finally see close up how they do this trick during his concerts, but nope. Didn’t do it. Oh well. At least we got to hear his beautiful rendition of this oldie. 👏 love his voice. Even at 76 yrs old, he’s still got it.
I think this was from a primetime all-star special that NBC aired in 1977. It was a 60 minute show, compared to the usual half hour ones in network daytime and nighttime syndication.
I never heard him do this song, is it a Gong Show one shot, or did he record it somewhere too? Very cool. Never heard the song nor seen the clip till now
The GongShow, the best show ever.
I've always said, Alice should do an album of old classic standards a la say Barry Manilow it'd be a smash hit!
and now it's too late 😩😩
What song was he singing?
@@calista910 Goin' Out of My Head, by Little Anthony, and the Imperials.
@@hobbygamer6220 why? He is still alive.
@@0311Mushroom I know. I was pretending he got his head cut off :P
nothing or nobody will ever top Alice`s sense of humor, not Manson, Kiss, Gwar nobody!!
Zappa does

Alice did a great job on this Little Anthony classic
And a week later, he got hit with a pie on The Soupy Sales Show.
Did he say "Miss Alice Cooper"?

He did
Of course!

😂 I loved this show as a youth when we had 3 perhaps 4 📺 channels and wired 📞 phones...🙄
The show perfectly reflected the times it was in, the wild, giddy ''70's! Three networks, landlines and pay phones
Alice sings this song better. Alice, oh, Alice... SO dreamy.. ♥^♥
Priceless!
That's why I like Alice! (^o^)
This is great!

Talk about classic
Classic!
to uploader: CHANGE THE TITLE ! its GOTTA be a surprise !
keep his name but lose the song title
Why bother? It's blatantly obvious how that sketch is going to end.
@James Bowie noooo how do you figure ?? 🤔
Marilyn Manson was never on the gong show...
That would have been classic.
