Admirable Divine
One thing I love about Baroque is its eccentric orchestration. The pulses that carry this aria front and back are a good example. It was a joy to be exposed to this. Viva Händel!

She is singing at Aix-en right now and she is even greater than this recorded singing. Although her high notes are very slightly off pitch which bothers me. Nevertheless she is great but not as great as
Sandrin Piau at Bruxells production. Sandrin is as great as Maria Callas singing "Vissi d'arte ".

Very disappointing. All affect and no real singing. We would not hear half of the notes Handel so masterfully wrote if we were to hear PP sing this in a hall. All affect and no real singing. Hard to listen to after hearing Sutherland.
