which shows how easily people are fooled into marketing
this is a for profit company. You barely do any good by purchasing their bracelet. How much do they spent on the cleanups? just like the fooled Insider they announce it is to fund the cleanups, as if the money goes there mostly
the fact is that this is a FOR PROFIT company with barely any published financial reports on their activities. You'll do way way more good by donating the same amount to actual environmental charity groups that are well-known like WWF etc

@@andi2658 I'm sorry, but there are videos that make a point about how legit 4ocean is. It's a for profit company because they don't fall under the category of nonprofit organizations. Besides, I'm not sure about environment charities, but some charities just throw all the donations to a rich merchant (keyword: some)

@@sapphirefire7630 Well it isn't a scam, you're just being exploited. The bracelet doesn't cost more than 5$ to produce meaning there is a 15$ profit that isn't invested in new ways to clean up the ocean. This company has literally made MILLLIONS of dollars yet they still only clean up 1 pound (which is nearly nothing) for 1 bracelet. This shows that the majority of the profits probably goes towards the CEO's.

You can still help! Start by telling your friends, family, and other people about what's going on with our oceans. Ask them to swap single-use plastics like straws, bags, and water bottles for things they can use over and over again, and remember to recycle as much as possible. Don't think that you can't make a difference just because you're young.

4Ocean blocked me on Facebook because I gave a link (on their sponsored video) to a non-profit organization (The Ocean Cleanup) which is developing an automated and efficient solar and ocean current-fueled system to clean the Pacific garbage patch in 5-10 years without producing waste (bracelates).

How are the bracelets waste? They're made of renewable material and they're cute. Everything else is chill, but you were really being a dick for calling the bracelets waste.

At least it can help the environment too, unless you are selfish enough to just care about your needs.
20 dollars is at least an affordable price, yet I’m saying this even because at my country, it’s equivalent to 455k VND.
I would still buy this, and I will.

I just bought my bracelet. I recycle everything possible, from a glade candle, cleaning it to be a rock glass for liquor, grated cheese container to twine or ribbon dispensers. If I go to a party, I bring my recycling home with me.. Crazy. But effective, Friends are recycling more and more! We use 500 million straws a day! Most end up missing the trash container at your favorite store..I bought stainless steel straws on amazon. $4.55 for 4 with pipe cleaners. Give them as gifts, the reaction is wonderful and amazing! I keep one in my car. I live in Florida and Publix grocery has a box out front for # 6 recycling, foam egg carton, cleaned take out , foam cups, foam trays chicken or meat come on etc. Hawaii has banned plastic bags, India is banning all single use bags by 2021. Some California communities banned straws, here in fl I noticed a few beach bars not giving straws. It has started and we must do our part to be conscious of single use..
Plastic is so bad in out Oceans the salt we are buying has detected plastic, soon it will be an ingredient. Plastic is Toxic, we ingest the fish that ate the plastic.. it is a cycle we can break! Please look on Google at the "5 Garbage Patches" circulating in our oceans we can no long ignore out of sight out of mind.. Its here to stay, we must control it or it will kill us.. Bless my friends who recycle..
